They've been exempt from 1 trial + both have dominated the airtime recently with their fun antics
I'd imaginer they were excluded as they wouldn;t ben able to fit through the sewer tunnel very easily.

but yes i think this is probably quite true as the 'sewage pipes' that they would have to crawl through look pretty narrow from the trial preview clip.
I think both new the reason was their size as Colin jokingly patted his belly and Rosemary's when Ant and Dec told them

Rosemary and Colin are two of the people who do the most in the jungle this year. I thought the dance lesson with Ashley was really lovely and funny, they both throw themselves into anything.

haha that cracked me up, I just thought it was because they were older & heart things etc. Having read this I think Sacha88 is on the right track, honestly didn't occur to me

Yes I agree, they both had more get up and go dancing with Ashley than the others. They may not be as able to do some. things but they more than make up for that in other ways

Rosemary's only 60, which is a year younger than I am, and I'd certainly be fit enough for all but the most physically demanding trials (even then, it wouldn't kill me, I'd just be crap at it!). Unfortunately the simplest explanation is correct here, Rosemary and Colin are a little too large.

Same here ! Most of my friends of the same age give or take a couple of years would be fit enough for the trials except perhaps if heavy lifting was invoved !
Linda is a bit,plump I noticed and she's 54 but wasn't excluded. It's surely to do with Rosemary and Colin being so overweight and would be the same if they were younger.
same as Biggins was 'exempt' for many trials. I think he only did one the whole time. Imo, if you re not fit enought to attempt all the trials, you shouldn't be in there.

I agree. It really isn't fair on the others.
There can be no secret anymore as to what happens on this show, so there really should be 'no excuses' on medical grounds whether it is a mental or physical problem.

That was lovely and funny wasn't it. I'd never heard of Rosemary before the show but things she's done (like that) have endeared me to her. Also Ashley - she seems really nice and friendly and up for a laugh.

Not sure about that - part of it is entertainment value - who wants boring celebs that are just up for doing trials - George Hamilton did no trials whatsoever and was medically exempt from all of them but provided great tv and showed beyond the Hollywood veil what a nice guy and popular character he really was. Doing trials is only part of the show.
