Tulisa- The Female Boss 26/11/2012 *NEW ALBUM*
Tulisas new album is out next monday and all of the tracks are available to preview on iTunes. Tulisa has worked closely with many producers including those close to Rihanna on this album and I would say there is a good mix of tracks with no two sounding the same. Will you be buying it and are you looking forward to her X Factor performance this weekend?

I have nothing against Tulisa but I am expecting this album to be bloody awful, because four songs that have come from the album already are. For someone who keeps banging on about her "Urban roots", she needs to show them in her music.

She is awful. Can't be doing with this female boss thing. She makes out she is so straight talking but all she does is sit on the X factor make bland comments and look miserable.

It's actually a really good album. Much prefer the songs like 'Sight Of You' to the style of 'Live It Up' (I do like 'Young' though)

there's a thread on it in music already with a link to a soundcloud preview of it which i had a listen to. it's not awful, but they certainly made the wrong choices on the singles after the 1st one because there's better stuff on the album.

Listening to it now. I all of the sudden have a new found love for Young, which i have said several times is one of the worst songs of the year.

This album really isn't as bad as i thought. But for someone who keeps saying that she never forgets her urban roots, well, where the hell are they on this album. This album is as pop as any Pop album can get, with just tiny R&b/Urban elements. I think the closest she gets to being Urban is on the track Habit, which sounds like an N-Dubz trac. She has sold her soul to the Dance/Electro Pop Devil.
Skeletons is ruined by such horrible production. Works better as an acoustic ballad. British swag sounds like a bit like Birthday Cake but after the intro, becomes a bit of dance pop mess. Overall, it is an average album. I can't see it being a long time seller in the charts. I feel this isn't really her musically. |

The album is very good. I agree with the people saying she chose the wrong singles. A lot better songs on the album that is better than Sight of You.
