Yes. I hope he wins just to see what the other contestants will be like when they go on stage with him while performing the winning single. And of course, It would be entertaining to see Tulisas reaction

I like someone who can actually sing. They don't need to bend notes everywhere and be helped along by backtracks and vocal gymnastics.
Christopher Maloney actually stands there and sings well in my opinion. He is the only one on the X Factor who is a straight singer and I enjoy his performances for that. Call him Karaoke if you like but there are people who don't agree and they enjoy his performances therefore are voting for him. On the flip side of the argument doesn't that just show how some of the others in the competition are just not appealing to the public for the way they sing? The over hype for some contestants and blatant hatred for Christopher and Rylan from the judges has been disgusting this year. |

If Maloney is 'karaoke' then what exactly are the others? Oh yes, they're innovators aren't they? They're singing old chart numbers in entirely new ways aren't they? And they sing it with real passion, even the ones who can't actually sing at all, right?
the general opinion is no he wont will some of the more than likely |

A karaoke singer (in a derogatory sense) is someone that sings, often badly, reading the words off an autocue for the amusement of the audience. Often the singer has no real talent or technique but is entertaining in a 'so bad they're good' way.
A singer who re-interprets a well-known song in their own style is called a song stylist. The most well-known song of this is probably Michael Bublé's version of Cry Me A River. |

They're more innovative than Baloney, that's for sure. At least some of them attempt to put their own spin on things - he just trots out the same karaoke numbers every week.

I voted "yes".
The best karaoke singer by a country mile (why do they say that? A mile is a mile no matter where it's located), but best vocal, not by a long, long, way.

![]() I think he would make a great replacement for those Gary linker adverts "salt n lineker " "Chease & Baloney" that contract could make him millions |
