After the dissapointment of Sunday night, as an X Factor fan i feel somewhat deflated by recent events.

I think it's cruel on both James A and Ella that they were put in that situation. I feel frustrated that the lesser acts, such as Maloney and Rylan, keep getting through somehow!

Ella leaving is a travesty for the show, as it loses a very talented artist, who i appreciate got alot of criticism, but boy this girl can sing!

The show it's self makes your blood boil, from the judges, to some of the acts, all the way down to the producers and that infamous girl vote,

In a funny kind of way i think the ones that have been eliminated so far may do better than the ones that make it to the final, I also think they could do better than the winner.

As the show reaches it conclusion in a few weeks, I would hope that some one such as Jahmene or James A can win the competition,

It would be terrible for the show if either Chris or Rylan won. Union J have also got an outside chance but i cant see another group winning after Little Mix last season.

The future of the show is unclear, I would guess that Simon Cowell would have been left fuming about Sunday nights results, and we know that when Cowell gets mad, heads will roll!

Perhaps that shock is the message Cowell needed to try and salvage the show and save it from the despair it has fallen into in recent years!

Clearly the lesser acts are getting more votes. It really is that simple.

Maybe people didn't like Ella and James's performance enough to vote for them this week. Perhaps the public didn't "forget" or "assume" their favorite was through. Perhaps they just voted for who they had the biggest reaction to?

Its not like many of the contestants go on to be world class recording artists...
