I make comments within the forum's T & Cs. I do not attmpt to control other's postings. In the picture to the article he's wearing a t-shirt with the word DIVA stamped on — can you understand this is all pantomime? Christopher is playing his part. Everything to do with this is all smoke and mirrors for headlines. X Factor hasn't been getting such prominent headlines as in previous years this time round. |

He's so full of crap
Everyone would've forgotten the 'Diva' thing if he didn't bring it up every three days. |

I don't see why people who don't like him are bullying him, people are allowed to dislike the acts on XF. None is bullying Chris, not the judges, papers ect, that word get's throw around so much these days, I hate bullies by the way.

The fake shakes stuff is a little unfair because none of us know for sure whether it is fake but most people simply say he is not popstar material, he has the wrong sound, style, image, look etc to be a pop act. This is what most people focus on. This isn't bullying.

People discuss, the word bully has lost it's meaning when thrown around in the way you just did. I'm not trolling Christopher, are you? I've never contacted him.

Apparently it's not bullying ... It's expressing an opinion
![]() Read some of the posts directed at Simon Cowell's sexuality, "Biffa" Cole, Louis and the 'boys' category, Kitty, Katie and other past X Factor acts. You have to put it all in context. I do actually understand some of your frustration, Betty. And I mean that without being patronising. |

I'm actually struggling to think of any of the acts in the live shows (apart from the groups) who I'd consider pop acts. I think only James and Kye would fit that description. Perhaps that's the problem - the X-Factor bods/judges are too wrapped up in sob stories and all the TV claptrap to actually choose contestants on the basis of how commercial they'd be. It's only when they get to the live shows that we start getting the judges moaning about contestants not being commercial/pop enough. It's too late then! I think people are so wrapped up in the cheesy/cabaret/diva/fake storyline that they miss the point that Chris can actually sing. He's managed to make a decent job of All By Myself and Total Eclipse Of The Heart, which are notoriously difficult songs to sing. I get the impression that he was given those songs because TPTB expected him to make a hash of them, but he didn't. I don't know what Chris is like as a person, but I wouldn't trust X-Factor 'sources' to give an accurate picture of what anyone's like. They just feed the tabloids what the producers want the public to believe. So if they want rid of someone, they feed the media stories about diva-ish behavior, other contestants not getting on with that person and general unpleasantness. It's the same every year. Oh, and I'd agree that the majority of people posting on here aren't bullying. Most comments I come across re: Chris seem humerous or tongue in cheek in nature. What's unpleasant is the way Chris is treated on the show. It's not funny seeing Caroline Flack et al being almost hostile to Chris for no other reason than they've been told to by TPTB and rather than being professional and impartial (as they should be), they're all towing the party line! |

I actually started a thread on here in September as soon as I heard the guy sing saying I couldn't believe all the judges were praising Christopher so highly at his initial audition.
They should have known he was cabaret. So what went wrong? |

They should have known he was cabaret. So what went wrong? Lest we forget Gary never actually put him through. You always have acts like Chris at the auditions who have a great story and make for a great 'audition moment' (much like Jade last year) but when it comes down to it they're not meant for the live shows. They're cannon fodder for judges houses. Only this time the wildcard vote has seriously backfired on them. I genuinely don't think the show anticipated quite how well he was going to do in the public vote. |

I don't mind opinion .. But I do find some of the things written totally disgusting.. Stupidly I have done it more than once or twice myself. But having spoken to a person yesterday who gets this kind of stuff sent to them on twitter I'm going to stop. He is a sports star and he said it really affects his family. He himself knows it comes with the fame but his mum who helps him run his account gets really really upset. |

Yes it is expressing an opinion. I can't stand what I think of as the buffoon that is Christopher Maloney. I am not standing in front of him saying this personally.
