Also when they showed highlights of the camp, the food bag that came down looked quite full so I think he might have done well.

keith duffy has been annoying regarding the whole helen thing. because he's her supporter he had completely flat out poo poo'd the whole notion that helen was pretending to be too scared to do the trials that now when people behind the scenes there and a few in the camp are clearly suspecting this is the case he's doesn't want to look silly if he gives in and agrees that it's possible. so he's saying daft things like 'how could she keep it up for such a long time'... now that's where he's making it in to something bigger and more clever than it needs to be....she's only got to make a fuss and throw a wobbly during the trials..come back to camp say she's sorry but just couldn't do them and then bathe in the sympathy that the camp mates gave her. she doesn't have to 'keep up' any faux personality from day to day whilst actually in the camp. she can be her self there fine. then when that wears thin go in there and do a task as best she knows she can. and as nadine quite rightly concludes..result is it makes helen look great for being so brave and 'overcoming her fears' etc.
it's crafty yes...but not particularly difficult..even for an average actor. as i've said before it's a win win situation.

I've been wondering where Helen fits in with that, because we heard all those stories last year when Antony Cotton went in the jungle.

Joe isn't acting like Charlie's cheerleader though, dissing anyone who dares to cross her
That's what Duffy seems to be doing with regard to Helen ... excusing anything iffy about her behaviour with a glib, "ah, but she's a lovely girl, and she's only twenty two" ... then going on to vilify anyone who questions her ( Lemahl has been a particular target )
Just as well he ( Duffy ) happens to be a little bit gorgeous, otherwise I'd be properly miffed

Well, we had Kym Marsh rant at the viewers on twitter about Helen and on the ITV2 show she did stuck up for Helen but also for Charlie as her mate.

that's got nothing to do with it. again this shows that some people seem to think that the ones who suspect helen to have been putting it on in the trials are implying she's not being herself but acting the whole time on the show. no..this isn't what is being suggested. i for one think she is being herself amongst the camp members but just faking her fear for that first week of trials for all the benefits that could bring her...airtime etc...
