He's done one less Latin than Victoria to date, it's hardly a massive imbalance

I would rather see Victoria do ballroom this week and leave the competiton gracefully however they gave her salsa. She must be on her last legs in the competiton or the BBC want her out.

I think OP they are trying to make another "front runner" in MV so thats why he keeps getting ballroom.

It is unfair I agree.

I think he's really going to struggle with the AT.

I severely doubt he can maintain the frame (hanging basket has been covered up by tails for the last three ballroom) and portray 'passion' and 'intensity' with Natalie.

VW would have been his best draw.

Anyway, he's got good odds of getting two Latins in a row after this (if he even gets there), and it's unlikely both will be good. Rocky road ahead for the guy. And the AT could be quite wooden, really.

Possibly, but this would interfere hugely with their blatant promotion of Dani Harmer, it is now becoming so obvious, she must have a BBC show in the offing!

Why does it matter? If he stays in, he'll have to do all the dances (bar one) eventually.

Are they planning on dancing it to 'Putting on the Ritz' or something?

To be pedantic, AT is not ballroom. It is completely different in style, the only similarity being that it is in hold.

If he is kept in then he'll have more latin to do later on when the competition is harder, and so there is no overall advantage. Just maybe one or two extra weeks. And to be honest I'd rather see more of Michael than Victoria.

Hardly he's done one ballroom this week and one latin last week - so far it's been br lt lt br br lt br - so about fifty fifty - by giving him jive and ccc it looked like they were trying to get him out before Halloweon and the salsa is hardly the friendliest latin they could have given him.

Who leaked the news of "Tracy Beaker: The College Years" to you?

Going into this week

All the top scorers have completed an equal number of ballroom and latin dances. (hang-on-a-minute: that assumes Kimberley gets a ballroom dance this week). Denise: Kimberley: Louis: Dani Nick has also completed an equal number of latin/ballroom dances..

Of the three remaining contestants:

Victoria will have done more latin dances - which doesn't suit their partnership where she is more comfortable in-hold

Michael will have completed more ballroom dances - which does suit him

Lisa will have completed more latin dances - which suits her.

My take on this is that Lisa and Michael have had a boost early on, which they've both capitalised on and has now put both of them in the running.

Victoria; 'who knows' maybe the producers were convinced that the Olympic effect would see her through the first weeks, plus its allowed us to see her as a person. Now she has a good run of ballroom, which will allow everyone to say how much she's improved, should she get to the finals.

Its looking like a Michael vs Victoria final

Now a conspiracy theorist may well say that the producers realise that Michael is riding a crest of popularity at the minute and could well circumnavigate the bottom two even if he was given a samba/charleston/rumba. The producers don't want him to win and therefore think that to give him one of the aforementioned dances now would be a waste. Far better to give him one of the "in-hold" dances and then hit him with a run of awfulness that makes the scales fall from the eyes of the viewing public and causes them to realise just how ridiculous it would be if this partnership, lovely and entertaining though they are, actually won.

As I say, a conspiracy theorist may well say that.

I wouldn't know, not being a conspiracy theorist.

Given that I (and the rest of Scotland) saw a snippet of Gaelic programming instead of his American Smooth because of "technical issue", maybe he deserves a bit of a break this week.

Technically I think they count it as a Latin Dance (I vaguely them saying that when it was introduced) as it would get quite confusing with both Ballroom Tango and AT being in the same category and I really like Michael so hope he does a good job of it

This will also be his third dance in a row that involves lifts, his poor arms must be aching.
