I see that both the 16gb (319) and 32gb (389) Nexus 10 Tablets are back in stock. Are you getting one? I am tempted to sell my Samsung 8.9 for this.

Bit of a cheek of them to charge 10 for delivery when it will take 2-3 weeks.

I have to sell my iPad 2, or trade it in somewhere. Really want the Nexus 10.

I've just ordered a 16Gb version.

I was thinking about getting the 32GB one but I have a 16Gb ipad and i've never filled that up so I didn't think it was worth spending the extra for storage space that won't be used.

If you didnt fill your 16GB ipad, then there is no need to buy a 32GB one. I have a 16GB galaxy tab 10.1 which I did fill up. Mainly with my nandroid backups and games. So didnt want to go through clearing up my space everytime I wanted to install a new game.

Trying not to get too excited, but the 2-3 week shipping may just be Google playing safe...

I've just had an email saying my order has shipped. Hopefully there won't be another one in the morning telling me it's a mistake.

Snap, I got an email last night saying its been shipped via TNT. Hopefully I will get it before tomorrow. Nothing on the TNT tracking web site yet.

I think google had x amount in stock. If they got another big rush, they could fulfil the extra orders within 2-3 weeks. Those that ordered whilst they had stock, got them straight away.

Mine just arrived

It's pretty damn stunning, and even preconfigured for my Google account - just had to enter my password.

I have informed my colleagues that my productivity may suffer today....

The TNT site is crap - when I was trying to see mine I just got the status page for something that was delivered 5 days ago in a completely different part of the country.

Thankfully they seem to be better at delivering stuff than they are at websites...

I had that as well...apparently the google number isnt the consignment number, but the reference number. They tried to deliver, but no one was in!!! The misses should have been in at that time...so the status is "follow up action underway"...whatever that means.

Edit - Just got of the phone, they will deliver tomorrow. So I guess I will be working from home tomorrow.

Mine turned up about an hour ago.

First impressions are the screen looks lovely, very crisp with bright colours. Video playback seems to be smooth and clear and the interface is fairly responsive. It looks like it will be better than my iPad 2 for reading books and magazines if I can find a good pdf reader that supports accessing files from a network location.

The fact that the interface is only 'fairly responsive' is a bit worrying. I take it the device has Jelly bean 4.2 and not 4.1?

I am not sure about network access, however I use ezPDFReader to read PDFs. Then again if you can get to the network drive from your tablet, then I see no reason why exPDFReader would not be able to access the file.

It seems that they come out of the box with 4.1 but a quick system update later and it is now running 4.2. The only bits I have found that are not perfectly smooth are a high bitrate HD movie that I was trying to stream from my NAS drive and the adobe acrobat reader but they are probably software issues rather than any problem with Android or the tablet.

My initial thoughts after a couple of hours playing with it...

It definitely feels like a premium device -- although it's very slim and light (makes my old A500 look like a brick!) it feels nice and solid, and I personally really like the rubberised back. Looks wise it's much better in the flesh than in the photos.

The screen is a stunner. I've always been a bit dubious about the ultra high pixel density displays, but I take it all back. Photos and HD content look fantastic. Viewing angles are incredible.

The UI is as smooth and silky as I was hoping. It's hard to describe, but every onscreen action feels completely "connected" to what you do on the touchscreen. It's somethiing I noticed to a degree when my Galaxy Nexus updated to 4.2, but it's even more so here.

The speakers are surprisingly good for a tablet, obviously it makes a difference having a front facing stereo pair.

I haven't tried any really demanding games on it yet, but the likes of Angry Birds Star Wars and Jetpack Joyride are completely free of any glitches or stutters - as you'd expect given the specs of the device.

The only app that has been less than flawless so far is The Register one, and that's generally recognised as being pretty terrible anyway.

My only gripe is that non-HD optimised content looks pretty shoddy, whether that's websites or games. That's hardly surprising given the quality of the screen - every little jagged edge is magnified. That situation will hopefully improve over time though.

Overall - so far it's an absolute corker of a machine, really really impressed.

I agree with pretty much what flynn says. The tablet is very good indeed. The screen is awesome, very clear. A massive difference from my galaxy tab 10.1, as you would expect. The tablet looks better in the flesh than pictures. The same could also be said for the S3. Not sure why/how samsung produce products that arent photogenic .

The tablet does feel very solid, and does look as it can take some small knocks and drops. The bezel is nice and big, just like my tab 10.1, so no problem holding it comfortably without intruding on to the screen.

You dont get much in the box, tablet, charger and cable. Not sure what else I expected.

My initial thoughts, are that its a very nice tablet. At that price, its virtually a no-brainer.

Now that I have played around with it for a few days, I am still impressed with the tablet. It does seem very solid. The only gripe I would have it, is the the rubber back can be depressed. Its not a solid back as such. The middle (of the back) can be depressed about a couple of millimetres. Which to me feels a bit odd. I would have preferred it to be a solid back. The edges are solid however. I am not sure if this is the norm, or just my tablet.

As I said earlier, the screen is very nice. My opinion still remains the same. Since the most important part of the tablet is the screen. The screen on the N10 is a great.

The tablet is very smooth, scrolling left and right there is no lag. However bear in mind that I only have a couple of widgets on the screens, and three of my screens are still empty.

The battery is good. However I would expect it to get better as it goes through the first few charge/discharge cycles. My misses was using it for youtube, I was playing air patriots (great game btw), surfing, installing apps, reading. The battery lasted around 5ish hours. Unfortunately I didnt keep an accurate measure of time. Silly me, I just remembered I installed battery monitor pro. That will tell me how long the battery lasted. I will add that when I get home this evening.

Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and glad I bought it. Since I will be selling my galaxy tab 10.1 for 125, this tablet only cost me 275. For me, that was worth it. I would certainly recommend this tablet to others.

Want to show off your new Nexus 10 to friends, download the trailers 2, 2560p demo video from this site. Use Mx Player with hardware encoding turned on or use VLC for android. Both are available from the play store.

That video is stunning, just been showing it off round the office

I found it was jerky in MX with HW encoding on though, turned it off and it played fine.
