Here's a look at how the four main broadcasters did in the BARB Monthly Shares for November 2012:

Channel 5 was the only broadcaster up year-on-year in November, with its family share growing by +2%. The other broadcasters were down: ITV (-0.4%), Channel 4 (-3%), BBC (-3%).
In terms of terrestrial channels, ITV1 (+1%) improved vs. last year. Channel 5 was down -2% among its primary channel (exc +1) or up +5% (inc +1) depending how you look at it. The other terrestrials slipped: BBC1 (-4%), BBC2 (-7%), C4 (-11%).
Within the multichannels, BBC4 performed very well once again by growing +33% y-o-y. For the second consecutive month however, BBC3 slipped -7%. Over on ITV, none of the digital channels posted a growth vs. last year, with ITV3 (-4%) and ITV4 (-8%) both down. E4 (-5%) slipped for the first time in nine months but Film4 (+7%) and More4 (+9%) performed well. It was the third month in a row that More4 was up. For CH5, 5* was down -17% while 5USA held its share.

And here's a look at how the broadcasters have averaged for the first eleven months of 2012 (January to November) vs. the same period last year:

The BBC (+1.0%) and Channel 5 (+0.5%) are the two broadcasters up year-on-year. Channel 4 (-1.4%) and ITV (-2.2%) are down vs. 2011.
