Someone who got a lot of photos with the cast in the last week or two got a picture with Andrew didn't they? Or am I making that up?
![]() I can't remember who it was though. Joellums.

OMG Radio is that really what people are saying? Stuggers seriously are delusional arent they?? Quote:
Ahh thanks
It was such a beautiful ep. Yeah, that got me as well, I don't know exactly how 'lucky' Ste was to be hit by a friggin bus. I didn't like that Doug didn't let him talk about the accident either. Brendan would have talked through it with him no matter how hard it was Ste was just trying to get his poor muddled head together!I love that we can always tell when a writer is a shipper. Those writers should write the eps all the time ![]() ) Quote:
total shock and confusion, he can't actually remember the marriage and it seems he can't even remember why he would marry doug in the first place.
ste asking for brendan was heartbreaking and also when he saw the nurse and thought he could be him it was a very good episode because despite not having scenes together they showed their connection. I dread the next stendan scene, if the spoilers are anything to go by it will be full of angst |

I do really feel for Doug in that episode. He's doing what he thinks is right with the soft voice and kindness but honestly in that situation I don't think it's what Ste wants
I guess it makes it feel more real? Or maybe I'm talking out of my arse ![]() Yeah, I have to say I think I've been fangirling too hard to care much but I think you're right - the last two eps we have seen Doug trying really hard but not quite getting Ste and Brendan trying hard to not try and getting him completely (kinda like what it was like with Ste's Mum tbh)

I love how the Doug hate is diminishing as Stendan realms

Doug can do all the right things but it's not quite what Ste wants/needs. |

TBF I dont get why either of them wouldnt let him talk about it - I mean Ste has a right to know what happened! But yeah if Doug was really there for him he would have let him! (he just came across cold in that line). Where as Brendan had pretty much had that conversation in his head, imagining hugging him as he poured out all he needed to (Because that was the only way he thought he could
)And Ste was really showing the Brendan feels that ep ![]() Aww you've made me feel all sad for Bren

My "non Doug lover as long as he is with Ste heart " may be overreacting here ....i am only sure Brendan never would say you were lucky one ,haha... |

I have a few concerns for the future after reading BK's interview.
If they want to change the show's direction then I think bringing back "old favourites" is taking a backward step. Also I hope his "big plans" include casting new people for their acting ability rather than their looks. |

They said they wanted to go to Dublin and I was like YES! Then I wondered, if I ever did go to Dublin, if it would be weird writing 'Ste and Brendan' on a padlock and putting it on Ha'penny Y'know, cos I'm single and alone and I apparently care more about a fictional couple's relationship than I do about getting one of my own

Doug is out of his depth, but he is trying his best. He held Ste. He's been at his bedside holding his hand. He'd been there all night hadn't he? Presumably he took the kids home yesterday then went straight back, because he hadn't even changed his jumper.
He's giving him drinks through a straw. He's probably wrong in not answering Ste's questions and telling him what happened, but that's partly through wanting to save him from the distress. However it's also partly because he's frightened about jogging his memory about the recording and the rows. His paranoia hasn't gone away.Oh, and I've just remembered Ste saying sorry when he dribbled some water down his chin

I agree. To be fair to Doug, although he seemed blunt when Ste tried to talk to him about the wedding, otherwise I thought he was good with Ste, helping him and the suchlike. But I'll be honest, I barely notice Doug if Stendan's in an episode.
And Ste was really showing the Brendan feels that ep ![]() Aww you've made me feel all sad for Bren ![]() Brendans a broken man isnt he? A broken man with a receeding hairline (must stop with the hair comments).

Doug was sending Cheryl a message with his eyes, wasn't he, sort of pleading not to say anything about the row? I wonder if Cheryl was meant to have been there and witnessed it?
I don't think he was doing that to protect Ste. He's doing it because he knows if Ste remembers it, he'll lose him again. Meh, Doug. Meh, Cheryl. But at least Cheryl told Ste Brendan had been there. If she hadn't, the world would not be able to contain my bile. And it did seem like she wanted Brendan to go and see him as well.

![]() ![]() Ardluck, I don't think we have to worry too much about Bryan casting for looks rather than ability. He made some great finds during his last period at Hollyoaks. |
