SEXUAL TENSION.

The sexual tension is always there, even when they're not even in the same scene It's quite an amazing thing for two actors to accomplish...it's like scene-telekinesis. You can just feel the sexual tension is in the room, even when one of them isn't there. Even when Ste says Brendan's name, there's sexual tension. Even when he was battered in a hospital bed with his husband hugging him...there's sexual tension between him and Brendan.

I love that they used the term 'sexual tension.' It implies it's not just a 'Hey how are you? Good? M'Kay.'

I swear I stop breathing when they're in the same scene. It's unbelievable how great they are together.

Hmm I don't get my hopes too high for spoilered 'sexual tension' anymore. But just knowing they will be having a scene together is nice to know (although, like today, unspoilered eps are usually the most lovely). And I admit the 'will Brendan be able to keep away from Ste' part of that spoiler is more than intruiging.

Well considering the funny way spoilers get worded, it could mean a whole bunch of things really. Last time it was more a moment of fond co-operation over a pudding.

This time, it might be a sort of "can we just be together in every way possible right now please, no, oh okay i'll just go off and let my heart smash into a million pieces then" moment.

i think i don't remember this but Brendan's protective way ,some reactions of him make us think like that not because of their ages :sleep:

Just rewatched the scenes (again!) from tonight. I can't believe all that heartbreaking awesomeness was all in only less than 5 mins screentime! When it comes to Dublin if our boys don't get at least 20 mins all to themselves there will be hell to pay!
I also only just noticed that Leah and Lucas' adorable little drawings were stuck up on the wall. Angel!Ste still makes me sad

I truly thought Cheryl wasn't going to tell Brendan that Ste asked for him. I really didn't think she would, thinking that it would be better for Brendan not to interfere. I was pleased she did though!

Also, Ste's choice of words. 'He should know that I'm better now.' Very strange choice of words and I can't put my finger on why they were strange. Maybe because it almost implied he didn't want Brendan seeing him while he wasn't 'better.' He wanted to be well enough before Brendan came to see him. 'He should know that I'm better now.' It wasn't just a case of Brendan 'knowing' though, was it? He wanted to see Brendan, and he wanted Brendan to know that he was 'better' and wanted Brendan to see him 'better.' Just an oddly telling choice of words.

I also liked that Ste sensed Cheryl's hesitation when he asked her the first time so he repeated it. It wasn't just a 'Oh when Brendan has time tell him to pop in for a little visit.' It was like a 'Cheryl. I'm serious. Tell him to come visit me,'

He looked like he was going to burst into wails of agony when he realized Brendan wasn't coming.

Hmm with the will Brendan be able to keep away, does that kind of imply them bumping into each other goes well then, like there is friendlyness even though Brendan might not go see him. Obviously from Ste's point of view it messes with his head so we might yet see some heart fluttering since he thought he might of never seen Brendan again.

The thing is 'sexual tension' is a very odd choice of words, because I can't imagine whatever moment they're going to have is going to be 'sexual' based. It'll most likely be based on their deep connection and their desire to be together, rather than sexual. (Well, it's impossible for any Stendan scene to not be a little sexual, but you know )

I wonder what could possibly happen to be 'sexual tension' other than just a 'I'm really glad you're OK, Steven,' from Brendan and a long, longing gaze.

Or maybe Ste will actually try and confess something to Brendan and be all 'I really really wanted to see you, why didn't you come?' and Brendan could be all 'You said your vows, Steven. You didn't need me.' and Ste could be all '' and Brendan could say something that isn't cold, but let's Ste know that he can't do this anymore.

I reckon it'll be one of their last interactions before Dublin at least.
