Oh I hate Walker as well don't understand the love...Neil's great and Walker's a great character but when Walker comes back (and he will) it will be to kill Brendan... no dealt about it...So I hate seeing people saying they want Walker back cos he will hurt my Bren..
![]() #LettingitalloutlikeimhavingCounselling I am sure that Walker will kill Brendan and I want him to die in Ste's arms and for Ste to never get over it. That makes me a bitch, doesn't it

I hated Paul, what an empty scrot of a character. He had no appeal to me, brought nothing to the show and just meant we got yet another barrage of mercy flapping her fanny at the vague whiff of testosterone.
And no offence to the actor but I really don't see where people get the idea that he's wildly attractive from either, he reminds me if the monkey out if the wild thornberry's. But that's just my opinion. |

The Brendan/Walker relationship was fascinating to watch as they're both twisted, broken and arguably insane so it'd be great to see that fully culminate. |

I think it's more likely that Brendan will take Walker down (possibly in heroic circumstances), but will die in the process. I really don't want Walker to end up triumphant over Brendan.
Their story was more about their individual internal conflicts than the external one. Which is why I loved it. |

I like Paul and I love Walker.
Walker brought drama into Brendan's life and he's part of the reason that Brendan and Ste have gotten so close these past few months, how can any of you hate him when he's done that, even if he did do it by accident? ![]() I want Walker to be the one to take down Brendan if he is to die, but only because it's more realistic for an old bad guy to come back than to create a new one so late in the end of his story. |

Aww no you can stay cos you're lovely...you have so much love you, I just hate everyone..totally cow thats me..
![]() I dunno I just think Joe's a very capable actor, and Dr Browning breathed a new lease of life into Mercy. It's rare to find villainess characters who are also likeable. Weirdly I even prefer him to Walker. Neil was wonderful of course, but he had a role and he fulfilled it. I always felt Dr B's story wasn't quite done. And well no point airing the Doug love it's always been a thing and I just roll with it now ![]() eta: Ready does too, zippy We're jumper buddies.

I really liked Paul, but I don't even know why. I don't give a fig about Mercedes, and I don't really fancy him, and I wouldn't take him home to meet my Mum. But I just think Joe T took a two-bit sleazy character who should never have been in more than 3 episodes, and owned the screen with him. He was a totally sleazy nutjob, but I liked him.
That probably makes zero sense. Maybe I just liked how he made Lynsey's life hell.

Although....I think it would be quite cool if Walker WENT to kill Brendan and Ste killed Walker instead, just as Brendan killed Danny, to protect him. *gushes*

I want him out of my OTP, but I think he can be saved by giving him some stories and interactions away from his dependence on Ste. Although it's understandable why he's obsessed. Ste is beautiful and funny and resourceful and resilient, and everything a man could want. He's Brendan's though, sadly for Doug. |
