So do I and am looking forward to seeing it in the cinema next month. I've never seen it on the big screen.
Other good Christmas films The Santa Clause - (number 2 is ok, number 3 is a bit duff) Miracle on 34th Street - both versions especially the original which is still one of the best Christmas films of all times. |

My two favourite Christmas films have been for years:
It's A Wonderful Life and Scrooge Both classics of the genre. |

For me, "It's A Wonderful Life" is up there with the best of them.
Every year on Christmas Eve, just before the kids go to bed, we watch "Polar Express," which will be interesting this year as they've just discovered the Tooth Fairy is me, so they're starting to join the dots. We also really enjoy "Home Alone 1 & 2," & "The Grinch." My recent favourite is "Love Actually." I know it's a bunch of smaltzy cheese, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of cheese at Christmas. |

My family don't celebrate Christmas, but we do watch Christmas-themed films now and then.
The ones I liked best so far: The Apartment Gremlins Bad Santa Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale The Snowman The Lion in Winter I didn't like Home Alone, It's a Wonderful Life (so depressing) and White Christmas. |

Ah, the yearly tradition.
Why isn't Die Hard a Christmas film? There's Christmas music, the main character is trying to get home to his family on Christmas Eve? It's a much as Christmas film as Gremlins or Home Alone. By your logic, the only Christmas films are those featuring a baby Jesus or Santa Claus. |
