Won an Ipad 3rd gen but want to sell for Nexus 10???

That's right, always dreamed of winning an iPad and my dream came true today!

However I'm very partial to the Nexus 10.

My main reasons are:

Android Ecosystem which I prefer
Integrates with phone perfectly
Google Services fully integrated (heavy user)
Speakers on the front
Higher resolution
All apps bought for Galaxy S3 available on device
User accounts (useful for kids)
Lighter
Widescreen (and larger screen)
But I am so scared of selling this thing on ebay and getting shafted, or even just having to sell it for £320 and then paying ebay £20 fees...

Any other options for selling? It is sealed and everything.

Alternatively any major benefits of the iPad 3 which could sway me. So far got....

No need to mess with eBay
Integrates with macbook pro
Good for music applications (I use logic on Mac)
Better build quality
Less buggy (at the moment)
Guys, please forgive me - only I could turn such a fortune into such a headache!

If you want to sell it and buy a Nexus, by all means do so. Have you not thought of Gumtree or any of the other local ad website? It doesn't have to be eBay. But I shouldn't worry about getting shafted and I should worry about the fabulous sums eBay are now charging the seller.

You won't get as good price but think about selling it to a shop such as CEX, or a second hand mobile phone web site.

CEX must be the answer to your problems. We have one in Lincoln and it seems to sell most second hand stuff DEARER than you can buy new. I have no idea how they do it but I assume they must give a good price for second hand.

But I fail to understand who buys second hand goods which are dearer than brand new?

I've noticed this too. For the ipad 3 CEX will give something like £220 cash or £280 CEX credit, so I guess it must be those people who have traded in something and got that extra credit to use up.

I'd want at least £330 for it so CEX no good. I'm veering towards just keeping it, even if the hardware is dated and the OS tiresome. I'll see how I feel in the morning!

Cex give you half what they sell it for.

But you're right what they sell it for is ridiculous. How they do it is that they don't really make their money on selling stuff. Like most pawn brokers they make their money from selling stuff back to the people they got it from and charging interest. Their business is secured loans.

You will be very lucky to get £330 for an obsolete iPad 3 rd gen

Anyone will pay the extra for the 4th gen
