Can't access Iplayer on Foxsat HDR

I have had no problem accessing Iplayer until a recent upgrade to FTTC broadband (now have separate fibre modem and router to replace previous combined modem/router). I have always used a manually applied IP address but now can't seem to get any joy either manually or using DHCP. The new router appears to have a new Router Address (according to the Humax) and the DNS Address has also changed. I have no problem accessing the box from my PC using Raydon's software - it just appears to be a problem with the box accessing the Internet.

Any ideas?

Forget setting it manually - My guess it is the DNS setting that is in error or perhaps the gateway (router). Set it to DHCP. If you want a fixed address - use a address reservation on the router. reboot router and HDR.

weird that i had problems with iplayer last night on hdr 1000s and on my panasonic smart tv, and as they both use same platform i gathered was fault at iplayers end, checked this mornin and seemed fine.... not sure if was coincidence or not but also installed samknows monitor around same time too...

Thanks for the input - seems everything is working fine now but have set a reserved address as suggested.

Mark - I don't think my problem was an Iplayer issue as I could access Iplayer through my Sony Blu Ray. I was having problems accessing any of the interactive channels on my HDR (Iplayer, ITV player, The Space etc...)

Your ISP's DNS will take less hops and should be faster.
