I certainly get 'ticker' problems re this show, Gather. A la Monsieur Alfonse's 'dicky' ones in Allo Allo!

They should follow the rules of Radio 4 / World Service's famous Just a Minute and try to construct a programme, not only without 'repetition' but without 'hesitation and deviation' also.

Re your goldfish, it's probably more interesting to watch it swimming round in circles in his little bowl world, or 'watching' the proverbial 'paint dry' than to follow this stuff through your bleary 7am eyelids.

Seems a lot have, Chimp

Latest figures:

BBCBreakfast 1.51m (34.3%)
Daybreak 636k (15.6%)
Lorraine 1.09m (20.3%).

Previously:

BBCBreakfast 1.69m (37.4%)
Daybreak 628k (15.2%)
Lorraine 1.01m (17.6%)

You are in a big minority it would appear.

So BBC figures are down and ITV figures are up. Your point is?

All the Daybreak team seem fake. Only Ranvir Singh seems to come across as real. Glad she's got her fringe back, looks much younger!

The funny thing about Ranvir is, if she didn't quit the BBC for Daybreak she would have been presenting BBC Breakfast at the weekends by now. I do like her a lot though, along with Matt Barbet and Helen Fospero I feel it would be a strong team to modernise the programme as much as needed. One of the biggest and fundamental issues with Daybreak is that its so dated.

What's the reason for this oft-repeated non-anagram?

Maybe they could get Carole Malone and Gilly Hope in to replace Lorraine.

Haven't a clue who Gilly Hope is but I suspect you're a very, very bad person. Carole Malone?!??!

The reason for that is it'll be fun, considering Gilly on Radio Newcastle (she does breakfast cover) and her co-anchor Alfie Joey thought suggestions for Hollywood movies due to Wills and Kate in LA was worthy of listener discussion than the News of the World closing (which happened the day before and saw CM, who was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne out on her ear, something, as much as I'm no CM fan, that GH had been in the same position herself with the axe of her 5am slot in 2007). Even Christine and Dan got reaction to the NOTW closing.

So CM being the woman she is can demand most of the airtime on Daybreak and GH will get about 2 minutes tops or probably none at all, so GH will moan at ITV for giving CM having most of the airtime. CM will probably get ITV to poach AJ from RN and give him the same airtime, causing him to moan.
