he obviously does have a brain and whilst he does seem to moan a lot I don't see anything he does in the camp that implies he's brainless

Yes. Yes he obviously does have a brain.
But he is quite shallow. And often just plain stupid. And so is this nonsense ("interesting fact") about him never having "got lower than an A in any exam". And so is this other nonsense about his "has a work hard, play hard attitude to life".
It is to laugh and so I shall.
