I saw Muse @T in the park this year.
I wasn't too familiar with them before but know I adore them.
I love Sunburn it's one of my favourite tracks ever.
They have such a amazing, full sound for a three-piece band, much more so than keane for instance
Go see them live, now!

The reason both these bands bring hope is that they stretch the boundaries. Their songs can be mixed to satisfy the masses via the singles market but their albums can paint an altogether different picture and appeal to old prog rock diehards like myself.

It's a shame that others like Porcupine Tree, Anathema, Opeth and Pineapple Thief can't achieve similar success as they would appeal to a similar fanbase. Yet radio airplay remains the source of many music listeners' record collection and whilst this remains so, those that should make it will remain overshadowed by those far less worthy and far more manufactured.

Muse are great, not the best, but great nonetheless.”

Opeth's Damnation and Delverance are great albums - so different, yet so great. I have all of Radiohead's albums. Muse are pretty reasonable, yes.
