Could Dennis and Nick have been cellmates? EE
It's been suggested on here a couple of times the the discriptions they've both given of their sellmates match up. (Where I don't know and can't remember anything like that)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wpuud...feature=relmfu But looking at Dennis' reaction here when Dot reads the stuff NIck said about his cell mate, it's possible. |

I'd have loved to have seen Dirty Den and Dennis vs Nick Cotton. I don't think it could have been Dennis though, as Nick states in his letter about his cellmate, "I hear him muttering away to his Ma and girlfriend" and Dennis didn't have a mother or girlfriend as far as I remember. |

I'm still grieving for Dennis

Nick got out of prison at the end of the 90s. I think Dennis was only in prison for a couple of years. I think the letter was just to highlight Dennis' sensitive side. I imagine many prison cells have someone who doesn't cope as well as their cellmate and this was just a way of expanding on the characters personality. |
