Anyone heard if UKTV will keep this going or have they confirmed what will replace Dave Ja Vu?

We are all hoping for something extra but there does not seem to have been anything from UKTV, I wonder how long it takes them to decide what they really want to do.

Dave Ja Vu will probably get more viewers than Blighty anyway, so maybe they're gonna keep DJV there permanently?

It's possibly just a case of not having decided which channel to show, if they had made the decision, there would be no reason to use De Ja Vu as a holding channel. Then again, they could have decided which channel to bring to the platform but are replanning the channel for DTT rights.

Since no-one's said it already - Dave Ja Vu is moving from ARQ-A to SDN - That's 12 video streams on SDN now

That's not what we were expecting is it - as there was a spare slot on Arq A, and this means that there is still a spare slot on Arq A!

There's been space on SDN for a while due to the FEC change last year - only outside of Wales though.

So, does Wales have Dave ja vu? Have they lost anything else? Or have SDN crammed in 13 channels there?!

In that it says ITV4 is expected to close shortly. Do you know why?

Could be moving back to PSB2 or More sensibly SDN as ITV owns that still but just doesn't add up!

The site you got the information from is no longer being updated and is to close this month. Most of it on that site is guess work and is not fact.

This may be the case but UKTV's aim is to find an audience for one of their under performing channels.

Well part of me says as long as its not another shopping channel!

but i would very much be disappointed to see another +1 channel - Alibi would be good, but as people have said viewing is good for this channel and they would not want to give us a good channel on freeview - just the bum channels!

I guess there is not much demand for non bbc/part owned channels - a good addition would be Horror Channel least it would add to the variety of freeview

They made an initial announcement saying that DJV was temporary, and there has been nothing to suggest a change of mind since - the most recent evidence being the caption that appeared yesterday which can be viewed on 791. So I'm not quite sure why there is still a suggestion that their intention is to keep DJV permanently.

I wonder why they don't do themed weekends on History or something to test the audience. That'll tell them what will bring in the viewers.

Or they could create a new channel and actually put some money in to it or is that just crazy thinking? I mean it really paid off with Dave.

Because History isn't on Terestrial so they would be testing the wrong audience!
