I thought IMHO was "In My Head Only" aka "in my opinion" but who knows.

Also re: Robin and the wide assumption he is gay - can I just ask if it has been confirmed anywhere? Just me and my mum were talking about it at the weekend and I couldn't remember if it was assumed or if he had said it in any interviews.
(Before anyone jumps all over me...I know it doesn't affect his dancing...just curious :P)

BB

BB is the accepted abbreviation for Ballroom i.e. BB & Lat

(as well as the meanings already suggested of course)

So did I. I would never have used it if I thought I was professing to be humble - a bit too Uriah Heep for me.

It isn't professing to be humble at all. It is pretending to be humble. When one is not.

As in:

IMHO you are an eejit (and I mean it)

But that's one of the Oxford dictionary meanings of 'profess', i.e. to claim (often falsely) that one has a quality or feeling.

Usually Drunken Old Tarts.

I love the posts about IMHO!

I've always thought the H is for humble, but I stopped using IMO and IMHO after I read how annoying these are for some people because virtually everything we post on here is our opinions!

Peeps is just a nice way of saying people or guys when addressing a group.
