I really dont know if this is a text abbreviation per say but what does WELP means ?

TY = thank you

IMHO - the H is indeed for 'humble' as you occasionally see the even more Uriah Heepish IMVHO where the VH stands for 'very humble'.

Peeps is short for people.

Another one is YMMV = your mileage may vary i.e. you may have a different opinion.

The only definition of 'welp' I know is using it in place of 'well', as in Dumb & Dumber.

Prefixing with IMHO allows one to be blunter and ruder than normal.

It's quite like those that say "No offence, but..." knowing full well that what is to follow is going to be offensive.

Slightly OT (Off Topic)

Where was the original phrase, "I'm a dancer!" from?

It's been bugging me since Richard said it!

BIB to keep it on topic

I think (IIRC ) that it is from Chorus Line but as I rarely RC these days, I can't remember which song/character it relates to.

The way Richard says it is referencing the perfume advert (Chanel?) of a couple of years ago with Nicole Kidman when she prances about on the top floor balcony of a building in Paris with a handsome arty guy. IIRC ( ) he says something like "who ARE you?" and she replies "I'm a dancer!". Later in the ad she runs out on him and he discovers she is in fact a red-carpet superstar actress.

Surprised no-one has mentioned FFS yet - especially when directed at the judges
