Ke$ha - Warrior album thread
I have not seen a thread for this so thought it best to make one. I apologise if there is already a thread.
Ke$ha's new album Warrior will be released on December 3rd (UK) and then 4th (USA). The album snippets were released last night and personally I think they sound amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIBvACVhDBg&feature=plcp The album sounds pretty different compared to her previous and I can see the 'rocky' influence. Warrior and Supernatural sound perfect and NEED to be singles. What does everyone else think? |

I am really excited for this. However from the snippets and two singles i have heard, i feel there is no progression (which is not a problem) but she promised us a dance rock type record. Maybe when i hear the album as a whole, i could then be proved wrong.

Really excited for this and the snippets sound better than i thought they would. Im glad that she seems to showing good growth whilst keeping to her pop roots (as i thought the label wouldn't allow it). Supernatural sounds amazing but i hoped they have improved the bridge that i heard in the first snippet of it. Last Goodbye sounds great so i dont know why its only on the deluxe (unless they plan on doing a "Superbass" with it?

![]() Yes i feel after the massive bemusement of Lotus a void needs filling and Warrior feels like the surprise album to do so

Some idiot has been teasing fans. Saying they know a bloke from Kesha's label and he was meeting up with him to get hold of the album. That was at 12:00 and the person has now said they were never sure if the person had the album in the first place. urgh

The deluxe songs are out and kind of take the album is slight different direction. Either way, it's a fun harmless pop dance album. I have pre ordered my copy.

Amazing follow up to Cannibal. It has familiar sounds as well as some completely new stuff. I love Out Alive and Past Lives.

Just heard some songs, and Last Goodbye is really good. Possibly her best song.

Really looking forward to this tomorrow, enjoying Wonderland and Wherever You Are in particular.
I've enjoyed Ke$ha's sound since Tik Tok but have never really considered myself to be a fan yet this album is quickly transforming me into one! |

It's been leaked all over the internet and it sounds perfect. I myself think it's her best work. So totally worth buying it when it's out.

The album does not have a lot of commercialism to it, which is no criticism. But it's very much got an underground element to it. If she plays her cards right and develops her sound more, she could easily pull of a really epic dance album along the lines of Robyn's Body Talk or something darker like Goldfrapp's previous studio albums.

I am in love with this album. I really don't feel like any songs are fillers. I do think however that some of the deluxe tracks should be switched with some of the standard. Last Goodbye and Out Alive are crazy good.
Hopefully she will release Supernatural as a single, i'm feeling an easy Top 3 hit with that. |

Listening to Wonderland it really seems like she gives a nod to Animal/Cannibal but that part of her life is over & things are more serious now instead of partying 24/7. Sad song but I can relate to that one
