I haven't written anything on the forums so far, although I have read bits and pieces, but I wanted to write to say that I totally agree with the above. 'You'll never walk alone' wasn't my favourite at the time but on listening back to all the songs, it's the one I can't stop playing. I love the emotion you can hear in Jonathan's voice, and the whole song sounds more raw than their usual polished sound. My second favourite is "creep".

One of my favourite performances of the show was Bohemian Rhapsody - I just loved the way that all the parts of the song fitted together so nicely, especially given the fact that they managed to cut it down to around 2 minutes!

Another favourite from G4 was Somebody To Love. I'm not sure why though, I just really loved it - I think it was something to do with the cheesy choriography - it was just so good!

I also loved My Oh My by Tabby - he really owned the stage, and he didn't look nervous or anxious, he just looked like he absolutely loved being there!

Rowetta singing Somewhere was also fantastic, I just felt like she gave it everything she had.

Steve's Sweetest Feeling was the show when I though that he would get into the final. For me, it changed my opinion of him - and I realised he wasn't a one trick pony at all.

My favourite overall performance would have to be G4 either Bohemian Rhaprody or Somebody To Love.

I wouldn't know how to decide between G4's performances, there were so many that were so different but equally good.

Agree with what others have said about You'll Never Walk Alone. There was something else that came across with this performance, you could tell it meant something.

Circle of Life, fabulously done, one of my favourites. Just left me with a big smile on my face, no way they deserved to be in the bottom two with that. They sang their socks off and it was just brilliant. A real comeback after Britney.

Bohemian Rhapsody - they managed to chop up and condense a 7 minute song and it worked. Real drama, great entertainment, vocally spot on, great the way they vocalised the instrumental. Loved it

Somebody To Love - Did something to me, this did loved the choreography, didn't find it camp at all. Jon vocally not right, but didn't detract from a thoroughly professional and charismatic performance.

Can't not mention Nessun Dorma. Arrangement was great, they needed to keep it simple. A huge aria for one so young, and Jon nailed it. Respect


If I had to pick one overall, it would have been Creep in Dublin. Not technically a performance, but it was the real defining moment of the series for me. They captured something that day. Magic.

A bit of a cop-out I know, to mention so many, and believe me, it's unusual for someone as critical as me to be so torn. They just kept pulling stunning performances out of the bag. I hope they have a big future, they certainly deserve it.

Rowetta : Loved them all, but if i got made to choose, then probably Somewhere.

I liked Rowetta's "Somewhere" and "When you tell me that you love me". But for me it was really all about G4, they've become the act who are something special to me.
I agree that "You'll never walk alone" has something extra. Jon's intro in particular sounds so fragile and beautiful. All G4's performances are outstanding and I'm finding it almost impossible to rank them, but I guess my favourite might be between "Creep" and "Bohemian Rhapsody".
