No games in skype, skype is mainly a voice system, with messaging as a second option.
You can send files, i don't think you can send pictures as such. i presume you can have two skype accounts if you really want to. Microsoft is going to shut down their messenger service, so it makes no difference what skype can't or can do, you will either upgrade to skype or don't. i got a skype account, which I have had for a few years now, before MS took it over, I don't use it a lot these days, but it is useful sometimes. As long as Ms don't muck around with it trying to force me to have a Ms account i will keep it, other wise I will just dump it. |

i had a feeling that Microsoft would get rid of their messaging service once they got Skype, i know it will annoy many people, not just because of the games, but because the messaging service is quick and easy to use for sending quick messages to people. Thankfully AOL and Yahoo still got theirs. |

Has the swap over just happened?
My MSN tray icon has just disappeared and I can't find the program to rerun it. It has also gone from the control panel, programs and features, windows features. I only use it to let me know how many unread emails I have in my hotmail account and to notify me when new ones arrive. Is there an alternative that can provide the same service? |

So far my impressions are... not good.
WLM had a pop up window redirecting me to download the latest version of Skype, where it also deletes WLM during installation. All fine so far, until the moment it asks me to sign in with my Microsoft account, where it spends 2 mins trying to sign in, before telling me it doesn't recognise my details. I even tried resetting my password and that has done nothing either ![]() I mainly used WLM in the end, for the pop-up that would appear in the corner letting me know i had a new email, which i'll miss.
