Mine would probably have to be either G4 singing Nessun Dorma, Jon answering Simon back when he quoted what he'd said the first time they had auditioned and Rowetta singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow"

So what's yours?

2 - Jon's first comeback to Simon and Simon's reaction (the lots of people love you.... one) and G4's reactions (particularly Ben) to getting through the week after they were in the bottom 2 and the semi-final week.

Most of my absolute favourite moments come from Xtra Factor but there are too many of them and not evryone will have seen them....

Louis and that dark-haired one from G4's jumping up and down on the spot when they got through. God, that's hilarious. I taped the repeat off ITV2 just so I could rewind and watch it over, and over, and over again. The only problem is my other half thinks I'm an obsessed G4 or Louis fan. I'm not, I swear!

Oh, and Rowetta's first audition never fails to crack me up. The way she talked for 10 solid minutes was classic tv.

Apart from that everything else was pretty much forgettable.

The twins dressed in purple, can't remember their names, think they sang Boys of Summer.

I think Mr Pickachick also. Although, "Britains answer to Eminem" was funny too, whatever he was called.

Not my favourite bit, as that will always be Simon hugging Steve when they got through to the final but a funny moment all the same . Do you lot remember the lady who said her husband looked like Simon and then Simon asked him what did he think, would he put her through, and the husband said well if it was me, no class

Absolutely agree - plus the fact that when she did leave - she left on a high and had totally outshone everyone else

Sharons outburst, as it was the moment all the play fighting between the judges turned into some reality TV, we were getting her true opinion. I have no idea if she was right or not but it made great TV.

Agree with both parts of your post - I thought the lady who thought he other half looked like Simon was lovely - plus she seemed just to be there for a kiss from Simon anyway.

If we ignore the actual performances through the final, my favourite bits were Simon hugging Steve (to me it looked like Simon & Steve assumed Tabby was going through and I found the hug one of the most natural reactions that I've seen on the show - more relief than anything)

I loved Jon's first reply to Simon (I didn't like it the week after - too rehearsed), but the 'people like & hate you' remark was good - and Simon genuinely laughing at it was a great response.

Rowetta singing Somewhere is my absolute favourite moment of the show. Simon hugging Steve when they made it through to the final. Kate shouting, 'Get up Grace!'. Steve singing Smile, Higher and Higher and Let's Stay Together, G4 singing Nesssun Dorma, Rowetta singing When You Tell me That You Love Me, Cassie singing Alfie, Tabby singing My Oh My, VWS' outfits and their crazy laugh, Cassie the cusser, Rowetta's audition, Simon giving Steve a second chance in the auditions, G4 for being such gallant losers, and of course.........the winner is.......STEVE!

Too many good moments just to mention one.

The guy who sang U2's "Beautiful Day" at the auditions had me laughing as hard as the chicken man.. he really thought he could sing! Sharon's outburst was priceless too, as it's not often you see backstage squabbles making their way onto live TV.

All of Rowetta's performances but especially 'somewhere'. The first live show where she says 'Im through aren't I' always makes me laugh.

All of Rowetta's performances but particularly Somewhere *goosebumps*. Also loved Ro's audition, especially when Kate was chasing her And I am sorry if I upset anyone with this but Sharon's little tantrum made me laugh

Love her or hate her, Sharon has ensured she will be the most remembered part of the entire series, which was probably the intention. Quite clever really. It's like Victoria Beckham going to that wedding in a white dress with absolutely no intentions of upstaging the bride.

When Kate said that the winner of the X Factor is *long pause* STEVE!!!!
