[Game] The Mix Factor 3: Live Show #2
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the second live show of The Mix Factor 3!
Last Monday, 20 acts hand-picked by the judges performed Top Tens in a bid to avoid the dreaded quadruple elimination later that night. Many made it safely through, but five acts were unfortunate enough to end up in the danger zone. After four eliminations, Vino Alan was the lucky act to avoid being eliminated on the first live show. Today, the top sixteen are back for more! They will each be taking on a Floor Filler, which is a song that gets you in the mood to dance. Whether the acts will be singing dance floor fillers, wedding floor fillers or anything in between was up to the judges. As I've mentioned before, TWO acts will be leaving the competition after tonight's show, so the pressure is on once again. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the five judges of The Mix Factor and their acts! This will be your intro tune for Floor Fillers week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0 bboy1988 and the girls Angel Tupai Danielle Penning Jade Ellis Lyriccs and the boys Adil Memon Lukas Giorkas Morten Benjamin unclekevo and the groups Audio Vixen Mrs. Greenbird Phuong & Rasmus jackel1234 and the over 25s Chiara Galiazzo Daniel Vengsgaard Samantha Jade Vino Alan Soppyfan and the wildcards Jesper Nathaniel Willemse Sumera Espinel It's time to face the music everyone! Judges, please confirm your presence. |

Kicking off the show tonight is one of Soppyfan's wildcards. He's taking on a Maroon 5 song, it's:

Jesper
Jesper my boy, well done for opening the show tonight. This week, we had a goal to bring you out of your comfort zone and come out with something more lively and different to the soft side that we hear in your voice. This song was good for you and it was a great start to the show Jesper, you have proven that you have worked hard this week.

Also, I'll be posting either one or two acts a time, depending on the time it took all of you to comment.

Jesper: This wasn't bad Jesper, you did an okay performance, I wouldn't say that it was a brilliant performance as vocally, I think Adam Levine has a bit more edge to his voice than you do but all the same, it wasn't a terrible fit for your voice. I liked the style of the song and I get where Soppyfan was going with it. I don't think it was a stand-out but I'll be surprised if you go tonight because it was still a really good performance.

Jesper
Well done Jesper, that was another competent performance. This style of song seems really safe for you compared to last week. You shone for me last week but I just wasn’t as shocked by the song choice tonight. I have no fears for your place in the competition though, but I hope that for the next show you will be able to come back with another shocker of a performance and show me why you wanna win the show. |

Jesper
I feel like you gave it your all on the stage and i appreciate that, because you opened the show and that’s never easy to do because all the upcoming performances will be compared with your song. I have to be honest on this one though, and I feel like it was a good performance for me it wasn’t quite remember-able enough. The song fitted you, but it didn’t stood out. Because I feel like you’re gonna be safe for the elimination later on, I just hope your mentor will see this critic as a point to work with and give you more unique songs. |

Jesper this was decent. Like I said I feel like you need to have a pop indie style and not this full blown song here. It's just an average choice for you overall and didn't really give you a moment to shine in the song. It was okay but nothing special for me and I think you need to step up your game for next week |

Decent comments for Jesper, but will the public agree with the judges?
Up next are two acts who got great comments last week. Will they win you over with their Floor Fillers tonight? Adil Memon - ’Parachute’ by Cheryl Cole http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAQ2m5yE0bo Jade Ellis - 'Finally' by Ce Ce Peniston feat. Joyriders http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4GKRHWObkA Note: the song starts about 0:54 seconds in |

Adil, your voice still has so much potential to get better, but I'm not sure if this song was right for you. But at the same time, it was a risk and I commend your mentor for that. I feel like that you could've done better with another song instead of this one. Overall though, it was a good try and I reckon you may be safe for now, Adil, but I wouldn't be so sure. Jade Ellis Jade, I just suddenly feel like I've woken up to an upbeat performance! I love it when an act takes on a mid-90's song and gets it to sound current which I really like a lot. You absolutely sung it so damm good and you owned that stage tonight. We still have a long way to go, but I think you could be another contender for this competition. Great job Jade. |

Adil
Well Adil, I loved your performance from the first live show and I have to be brutally honest with you tonight and tell you that I am another big fan of that performance. Your mentor is clearly working hard with you to find some great song choices. I am now looking forward to your next performance Adil. Jade Jade another stunning performance. I thought this was an awesome song choice for you but didn’t want to play it safe and give you the normal version of the song, so we decided to mix it up a bit this week and I know that not all the judges will like the version of the song. I hope the public will appreciate the risk in this song for you and give you their support. |

Adil Memon
I’m so happy you made it trough the first week and that I get a chance to work with you. I’ll have to admit however that picking a good song for you this week was quite hard, and it’s because I think you’re much better when you’re doing soft, slow songs then when you’re doing up-tempo beats. However, this song suits you in my opinion perfectly, especially this specific version. You kept your softness, but you also showed a little bit more of an performance and I feel like if being given the chance, there are allot of great song-choices I have in mind for you, so I hope the audience believes in you and votes for you! Jade Ellis This wasn’t the right song for me. Last week, you were absolutely amazing and maybe I felt like you were gonna give a performance just as good as last week. Well if that’s what I thought, I was wrong. I felt like your vocals – which are one of the strongest of this competition – were overshadowed by the loud music and I felt like you were uncomfortable on that stage. I would’ve hoped for you to sing an up-tempo but still with your great vocals in it. Those vocals were the main thing I missed in this performance, I’m really sorry. |

Adil Memon: After last week, I was expecting big things from you Adil and whilst it wasn't a bad performance, it wasn't as good as last week. Olly has a kind of faux reggae tone to his voice and is quite poppy whereas for me, you have a husky, indie-folk style voice. I feel like this song choice just didn't allow you to show off your artistry and wasn't as good as it could have been, it wasn't bad but I feel like you should have delivered a bit more, not bad, nothing spectacular.
Jade Ellis: Your mentor knows you perfectly, I adored this performance. I was interested to see how you would cope with this theme as your upbeat performances on the show weren't quite as good as the downbeat songs you sang but this was amazing, it suited you perfectly, in fact the artist literally did sound exactly like you. I like the song usually but your version of it added a completely new dimension to the track, congrats! |

Adil last week you gave a good performance and suprised me with being so good but this just wasn't as good at all. I like how your mentor is keeping you with the guitar oriented songs but with a song like this it just wasn't as good. Olly's voice is a lot different to yours and just didn't feel right with this choice. Jade Ellis This was a good performance Jade and the verses I thought were really good and gave you a great chance to shine but for me the chorus I felt was a bit out there for you. This week I was really hoping for you to sing a TLC song because I feel you would've nailed that but I give kudos for your mentors for choosing a more shocking song that wasn't expected. It was a good song choice overall for you and I do think you'll be safe nice one. |

Mixed comments for Adil and Jade, although the latter received praise from four of the judges!
It's time for the first of Jack's acts. The over 25s category is the only category that still has four acts, and I think Jack wants to keep it that way for a while. Here's Daniel Vengsgaard singing 'All In' by Lifehouse! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1odkj...ure=plpp_video |

Daniel Vengsgaard
Well, I’m a huge, huge fan of you Daniel, and I’m still your fan after this performance. It’s obvious your mentor knows what he’s doing as it was up-tempo but not out of your street, it was still something I would you see doing on this show even if it wouldn’t be floor fillers week, and I think that’s a good thing because I love artists who stay loyal and true to themselves. It was exactly the performance I wanted to see from you Daniel, you did a good job on this one. |

Daniel, that was a great song choice for you, it totally suited you well. It's another rock song which I know that you excel at so well and I enjoy it. Will you be able to handle other styles is what I wanna find out soon, because you could be one of the most versatile artists in the category. For now tonight, a great job from you, Daniel. |

Daniel, I wasn’t a huge fan of that performance tonight man, sorry. With you I don’t feel any sort of connection. I am not sure what is missing for me but I just feel as though you can deliver a very good vocal performance but thats all I see from you. There isn’t really a performance or a connection with the public. I hope that if you get through the next few weeks that I can form a connection with you and can see what you are all about. |

My main man. Daniel last week I gave you a fairly poppy song with a slight rock edge and this week I wanted to give you a song with more of a rockish sound. Its not a massive dance floor filler but a great wedding floor filler! Lifehouse is the perfect band for you because you have a voice which is so similar to the lead singer and when the chorus kicks in you let your rock edge come out and go crazy with it. Fantastic! |

Daniel Vengasgaard: I loved you last night, it was such an unexpectedly great start to the show for you but for me, this was a slightly step-back for you, nothing major, I still enjoyed it but just not quite as great as your last performance. I think maybe I was hoping for something slightly more upbeat because I didn't get a massive floor filler feel when watching that but overall, it was a solid performance.
