Bruce thinks Michael could Win

From my local paper: 23rd November.

"Sir Bruce Forsyth has revealed how impressed he has been by cricketer Michael Vaughan on Strictly Come Dancing.

The former England cricket captain has improved dramatically as the series has gone on, and while Brucie never reveals his favourites, he tipped Michael as one to watch.

Sir Bruce told The Sun: "I think that is the most exciting part of the show. The improvement of somebody who hasn't got a clue."

The 84-year-old entertainer also revealed his annual week off from Strictly was interrupted this year because his wife, former Miss World Wilnelia, slipped a disc.

He said: "The weekend was for me to have a break but in the end I didn't because my wife had this pinched nerve."
Sir Bruce did hint that he may be ready to retire from the BBC show next year.

He said: "What I've done for the last five years is go on my winter break from the end of December to the beginning of April then see how I feel about everything.

"I've told my wife that if I do a really bad show, to tell me. But I think I'd know myself."

Sir Bruce added: "When I walk on the studio floor, or out onstage, I immediately become 34. Fifty years go just like that." "

Plenty to chew on there I think!

Highly unlikely Michael can win although he could be an outside bet .
After seeing that documentary about Bruce I don't think his wife would ever tell him he's done a bad show.
Getting laughs and a positive audience response are Bruce's oxygen on SCD and he'll continue as long as they continue.

Is Bruce aware that they have to do a ballroom AND a latin dance in the final? There's only been 10 series...

Well Sir Bruce does get to see them all in rehersals.

Who cares what Bruce thinks. Silly old man. It's his wife I feel sorry for.
