Tis true ........ She hasn't put a foot wrong but, rightly or wrongly, her American status is the only thing against her.

She's bursting with confidence and successful in various fields. I'm almost surprised that so many people like her. Quite often you get people wanting to take successful people down a peg or two. It's refreshing that voters are going for a successful woman for once.

Why the xenophobia?

I'd always want the best campmate to win regardless of nationality.

Not so much xenophobia, more like I'm not normally keen on the Americans when they go in there.....I either dont warm to them or they annoy me (for whatever reason). Usually the Americans are normally so up themselves, it provides me with a reason for disliking them.

Ashley has come across as a really nice girl so am more happy for her to win.

I like Ashley too. She's not at all false like a certain Miss Flanagan is.

I can't believe Ashley is still single. She said in an interview that she's found a lot of celebrity men are arrogant and pretentious, and normal guys are just too shy to ask her out.Hope she finds a good man,but unfortunately I'm already taken, but seriously,I hope she wins she deserves it.A truly lovely person.

I thought taking the phonecall knowing that Charlie wanted to talk to her daughter was very heartless, but other than that she has been great.

I'm sure she's happy enough playing the field.

She's very likeable, even my mum likes her and said not many celebs from over the pond on shows like this, we Brits take too, however she's one of them.

I'm not sure if she'll win but she has a good chance of making the final maybe, I actually like a lot of the celebs this year, so out of all the remaining, I don't mind who wins, which is a first, because they've all been good.

I think it may be that, although she is confident, she is not arrogant, and seems to be quite modest in many ways

Its nothign to do with success it to do with how people use success and how they percieve themselves .Ashely has no airs or graces or superiority and that was so lovely about her .

I don't think it was tbh, like she said, her parents can't watch it living in America so they sort of have no idea how she is getting on whereas with Charlie, one of her family members can tell her daughter, mummy is missing you, she's fine etc and also Charlie did say she could take the phonecall.

Forgot to mention this, I can't believe she is single still either. She's just adorable and lovely, shame I didn't live in America or I would certainly try and chat her up I will show the world how she should be treated

Ashley offered to give up the phone call. Charlie said no it's ok.

I would like Ashley to win. Was she yet another American contestant who said they'd never seen the show before and didn't know what they were letting themselves in for? I don't remember but if she was then it'd be a nice turnaround for her to win, having shown herself to be quite pleasant!

I think she said in a previous episode that's she only seen one episode of the show.

I know if I was going on a show like this, I'd watch them all

I'm torn between Ashley, Rosemary and Charlie so would be quite happy for them ALL to be in the final, and any one of them to actually win

I fear that another celebrity will be "hilarious" in the final trial and pip Ashley to the post with a subsequent undeserved surge of votes. It worked for Matt Willis and Dougie Poynter.
