The band or sound is shocking plenty vocals no music appalling. It detracts from the dancing.

It would be better with backing tracks.

I really agree, I thought the vocals tonight were really awful, and backing tracks are always preferable to live bands. The bands which are normally used in major competitions draw from quite a limited catalogue of tunes, and therefore perfect their interpretations so that the dancers can follow the beat. The Celebrities would have no chance without the pro to help them keep on track!
