GTA Vice City 10th anniversary
Hard to believe it's been a decade since Vice City was first released. One of the greatest games of all time.
Even now, it's still fun to play and the soundtrack is fantastic. What's everyone's favourite Vice City memory? |

Still remember when it was first released (I borrowed it from someone down the street), I think my favourite memory would be driving around listening to the 80's music on the radio, When I get my Blackberry Playbook I'll be buying it for that (if it's compatible)

First first song you ever hear on Vice City - Billie Jean.
Trying my hardest to nail all the unique jumps on the sanchez (i think) bike. The mini games in the arena are great fun too. |

No, because I remember being surprised at being able to swim in San Andreas.
Best memories would be Billie Jean being played at the start, the introduction of helicopters which made it a lot quicker to get places and the bike challenge in the arena where you have to balance on the beams. Definitely getting this for my iPad when it's released. |

It's my favourite GTA too, can't believe it's 10 years since it was released. Still go back and play it every so often even if its just to drive round listening to the music, putting a few cheats in and going on a major rampage!!

I used to love getting a boat and just randomly driving it around whilst listening to Emotion radio station.

I liked the golf cart bit and the mansion you get. Very Scarface.

Collecting all the hidden packages as soon as you access a new area makes the game much easier in the long run as you have a constant supply of weapons at the safehouse.

I loved playing the events in the stadium. Riding around to that great soundtrack too was a highlight. Tempted to get this for my Android phone when it's released soon.

The helicopters were great. I liked how they made in particular the mission where you had to rescue Lance from Diaz's men so much easier. You could just fly right to where he was being held captive, shoot a few guys and then fly back off to the hospital with him!

The greatest GTA game ever.
I remember the very day I got the game too, I was on the sick from work due to an operation on my foot so I got my parents to get it for me on launch day and I spent nearly every day for 3 months solid while I was on the sick playing the game and never once got bored. Happy days.

The Original Vice City is coming to the PSN (as well as San Andreas) but they will be under the PS2 Classics label and will cost £7.99, sadly since they are the Original untouched versions you won't be getting stuff such as the spruced up resolution graphics, better lighting and reflection effects, or things like Trophy Support.

There is very little wrong with this game.
I love the music, and even when your done with the game, just cruising and listening to the radio whilst collecting cash was fun. |

Vice City WAS suppose to be soon, but was delayed due to a Music Licence issue (Funny enough, when Grand Theft Auto III was first submitted that to was delayed due to a Music Licence issue, not having the best of luck here with the PSN!
)edit: @JasonWatkins I think he was referring to the PSN release of VC. |

I should give VC a re-play actually - I've re-played San Andreas plenty of times, and 3 a couple of times but not played VC all that much. I always used to like jumping in the helicopter, parking up on top of tall buildings and just shooting people and blowing things up - easily get your wanted level up to maximum and nobody could touch you

The aim is to get San Andreas out BEFORE GTA V, and Vice City has to come out before that, so really, they're hoping to get VC on there by the end of December, possibly early January depending on how this licence issue goes, then get it back on Steam/Other Digital Stores, and then get San Andreas out between Feb/Mar.
