I wonder what would happen if they did. Would they both go?

Poor Colin, the man looked distraught

If he just throws it then he's being selfish!

Or there could be a further twist that, whoever wins the trial... leaves.

Why? If he wants to go, why not just throw it?

Very good point
I think Eric is bricking it being a food based trial.
If colin refuses that means eric HAS to eat something to win the trial

Colin and the other celebs have been pretty vocal about him wanting to leave since the first vote off - that's why I've not understood why viewers have let him survive three eliminations already.

Oh, well. It'll be rubbish viewing tomorrow but I'm not particularly fussed over Colin going. I do wish it was Eric, though.

They said on Get Me Out Of Here Now that they both have to take another cMpmate to do the trial with them. So hopefully whoever Colin takes will support him into doing the trial.

Either that or if they refuse to do the task the other person has to do it for them

Just said on ITV2 that they have to take a celeb with them - will depend who they choose? Can't see Eric throw the trial!

Would love to see Eric lose, if only for that "he's going" comment towards Colin during the voting announcement!
Anybody else catch that?
Git!

I despise him. He thinks he's above everyone else. The thing is, people ACTUALLY like him... Good for Helen for standing up to him the way she did, even though it didn't work. How many times has he upset someone in the camp now?

Good luck to Colin!

I really want him to win, but I think he wants to go home, so I suppose I shouldn't be selfish.

They've also said on ITV2 that the people that Colin and Eric take with them will actually take part

Colin 5 minutes + Colin's friend 5 minutes

Eric 5 minutes + Eric's friend 5 minutes

I think Colin will throw the trial too, unless... If they have to compete for stars & the stars also represent meals for camp, do you think Colin's sense of honour towards his friends will spur him on to try it? (No point appealing to Eric's sense of honour obv...)

Awkward moment when Eric doesn't actually have any friends... :O

If I recall back a few years ago, Kayla Collins was similarly vocal about how much she wanted to go home, but she ended up winning her challenge because it doubled up as the food challenge for the remaining campers.
