Like many I am sick of all the unnecesary personal attacks on one particular contestant. He has been accused of everything from evading questions to attacking women - both of which make him a psycho according to some.

It is funny how some conveniently ignore the fact that there is no evidence to substantiate the more serious allegations - because they revel in kicking the guy when he is down.

Does this not say a lot more about the people making such personal attacks than it does about any of the contestants?

There's no evidence because it didn't happen.

I have never voted for him, but I have never personally slandered him either. That is the point. Why do some feel the need to do that? Speaks volumes in my opinion.

People on here seem to think they have exclusive access to Simon Cowell which proves he pays the press to print this sort of thing... of course saying that is slander in itself... so alot of this is hypocritical.

That’s not how it works.

The onus is on the bigot or bully who is making the vile, libellous accusations to provide evidence.

Thus far, none has been provided.

Normally when people have been assaulted, they contact the police within 2 weeks of the attack.

They don’t wait 7 years and then suddenly decide to sell the story to a shoddy tabloid.

sell the story to a shoddy tabloid.
At the most critically important time possible too.

Suspicious? I think so.

Personally I find it all a little uncomfortable.

Even more so when the perpetrators are in positions of power, authority, and influence. I find that unfair, and in turn, it makes me a little angry.

Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

I work for a law firm and some people are treading on very dangerous ground with what they're saying on this forum.

So, if as story is true, the victim is a 'bigot or bully who is making the vile, libellous accusations' in your opinion then?

Obviously, none of us know the truth but no wonder people don't report incidents if that's the attitude they're up against

Exactly.

It never ceases to amaze me how people will not see what they don't want to see and only see what suits them.

They don't like him so they want to believe their dislike of him is justified - that he is some kind of wierdo. It seems more to do with ego and being proved right than anything else. No thought given to the fact that such allegations are too convenient and very unlikely to be true.

And that could be turned around and that those who like his singing refuse to accept anything being said against him.
It's funny how so many were quick to believe the one negative story about Misha last year and throw many accusations at the girl and yet refuse to believe a whole host of stories about Christopher this time round.

Indeed. I am no fan of Cowell but I would laugh my ass off if he took action against the FMs on here who are saying liable things about him and his company.....

Maybe because there are people out there who have been watching the show for years and care about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if that is about one particular contestant then fair enough. Do not sit on your high horse and judge everyone else expressing their opinions - hypocritical is an understatement!

There are many who admit to not being a fan of Christophers, including me, but can still see the 'convenience' of such allegations.

I think he can sing, but don't like the way he performs. I much prefer other contestants. That doesn't mean I am going to accuse him of being the next anti-Christ. I like to think I have more sense than that.

It's odd that people that like him want to dismiss these rumours immediately. Very strange that those that accuse him are also labelled bigots.

The truth will out eventually.

Me too. If people don't like their singing, music etc and criticise that then fine, we all like different things. But I really don't like all the personal attacks.
