Yeah so I see lol. He did great, and lots of the crowd were swaying to the song too. If there had been boos the sound guys would probably have edited them out.

in my opinion, it was an excellent performance. anyway, this happened almost a week ago. let it go, his other performances so far have been good, and i will stand by and say this was good. i cannot see where he forgot his words. even if there was booing, there was also a fair amount of cheering aswell. not everyone like every artist, and a lot of poeple may not have booed due to personal reasons, some people just dont like winners of reality competitions.

The booing was before and as he came on. Nobody booed after he finished, and nobody said they had.

so surely if he had done a bad performance (like you claimed he did) then everyone would have booed afterwards.. wouldnt theY?

Please find where I said it was a bad performance... I think you must be seeing things, because I seem to remember saying that it wasn't an excellent performance. Even an idiot can see that there is a massive difference between bad and excellent. Plus, Jamelia wasn't all that impressive, as was seen by TOTP dubbing the CD track over her performance tonight. She didn't get booed for it, though.

But well done on your "bad performance = everyone booing" logic.

yes there was booing before his performance not during or after, rowetta told us this on the wright stuff this morning, she said it was the Mcfly fans, she said she felt really sorry for steve because they were booing just for the hell of it, ...personally i thought it was an exellent performance, ....and as for the Mcfly fans, young kids cant help themselves can they, i dont think they would know talent if it bit their arses ...you could see by the audience there wasnt many over the age of 16

On the forum its the way things are said that matters to me. Sometimes the threads are a really good debating arena - where everyone can democratically air their own opinion. There are peope on here who are out to annoy people. The thing is - only time will tell with Steve.( and G4) I suggest we all come back to this site in, say, 8 months time and then see how things have gone for Steve and G4 also. We don't really know. Happy Christmas to everyone !!!!!!!!!!

Last reply by me, and i'm done, but i'd say roughly 80% of the crowd were over 18. And how can Rowetta prove it was just the McFly fans booing?

Yes bailey, we know there were some boos, but I still think that what I heard was a good performance and that Steve didn't seem to put off.

As I said earlier in the thread I think G4 would have prob got a similar reaction from this audience - McFly fans and 13/14 year olds are hardly either acts main target audience.
