1 - Some of the bizzare humor on the forum. I'm not going to single anyone out for fear of missing others out. But you know who you are.

2 - The passion that people have for their favored acts.

3 - The Steve, G4, Tabby, Rowetta (etc) fans that get on well and are able to post in other Team threads without stiring trouble.

4 - Team no Team - Thanks to allinuse for changing the direction . A safe haven when everyone was fighting.

5 - The fake news threads. For a while they served their purpose.

Dislikes

1 - The way a sensible thread can get out of hand with every one slagging each other off

2 - Any fans that feel the best sort of defence is attack.

3 - The "bullying" label being given to every thread that disagrees with someones view point.

4 - The point scoring especialy between G4 and Steve fans (obviously not all of you )

5 - Threads where you are unable to discuss anything due to certain members deliberately causing trouble or other members unresonable complaining.

All my chums on Go Ro Campaign thread (and some others who weren't so fond of Ro) who have kept me amused, entertained and happy for the past few months.

That Rowetta takes the time out to post on here.

Heated debates.

Dislikes:
Personal attacks (on anybody)

The fact that I am too busy to post on here as much as I might like.

Occasionally being a thread killer

It's Rowetta Time!

It is a purely personal thing and not aimed at anybody in particular but I hate it when the word people is replaced by peeps.

The variety of views and fans (at times).
Steg and the VWS thread!

Dislike:

Crazy fans who don't honestly analyse performances and instead say theat their act was amazing every week.

The fact that you can post a thread and it can be spammed with completley off topic posts and the mods do nothing about it.

I dislike the members who just post negative comments. They are the sort of people who walk into a room and suck the atmosphere out of it.

This is more of a technical dislike... the fact that a thread has a page beyond the last one... but clicking on the page number just takes u to the one you're looking at... its only when there are 2 or more posts on the last page that you can view it!

I like the people and the humour and trying to work out how/why they chose their user names (Mesostim springs to mind....). And I like the way thread can turn in a completely different direction to the one intended.

I don't like some of the pedantry....... for example, people who constantly pick on grammar/spelling, and people who argue back to the grammar pedants in an equally obsessive way.

I also don't like the (very few) people who hijack threads to throw the same old insults around and turn a perfectly good thread into yet another argument, or turn the thread into a debate about whether the thread should exist in the first place.....

Its only really happened to me today, but i think its because the forum has been so quiet! Theres usually alot of people all posting at the same time, but this last day or two, u can almost see the tumbleweeds rolling through the forum! I dont know if there is anything that can be done about it, im sure someone will let us know though! anybody?

I don't like the way the tribal warfare spills over to the neutrals.

I dislike the way that for some reason, for instance, if someone starts up a thread about Alistair, a lot of pro Alex fans seem to think it is their life mission to get on over there and rubbish him or at the very least change the direction of the thread to their favourite. And vice versa. This also applies for Steve, G4 etc. I don't see why the partisan threads can't be left alone - let the G4/Steve/Alistair/Alex fans have their own place.

I loathe all the text speak with a passion. And I am not keen on the smilies. Aggressive and abusive posts are not toned down just because you stick a smiley face in there. Sorry, but they aren't.

Finally, call me a snob by all means, but actually, good spelling and grammar does make reading the threads a much more pleasant experience.
