They said he couldn't because he's off making his own show.

It's on the aprons - they're grouped by their year.
Ah well thats good in a way isn't it. At least he's successful.

Jonathan... I'm remembering him now I've seen the mess

I wasn't fond of Dani and for the life of me can't even remember Ellie! Dare I go google...
Ellie was really young and blonde and I think she cried a lot. Was she the one who drank a beer while she was cooking something and they really laid into her and nearly kicked her out for it?

I like how relaxed and confident they all are - it looks a lot more fun than the regular series.

Delighted to see my girl Kate back. Was never sure how to react to Dani - she was rubbish except in a black apron and yet she got two immunity pins. Rooting for Kate and the gang from S3.
Just realized that Johnathan is back too, I really warmed to him as the series progressed. Dani still annoys me!
Dani along with Ellie (so glad she's not there) were my all time least favorite so at least I have one to boo
My daughter went and found a spoiler last year because she knew she couldn't keep watching if Dani won. Fortunately she didn't tell me the eventual winner.

So far - I'm loving it. Its really nice not to have to try and remember names!

Can you imagine dealing with all that shouting from the balcony - that was really unhelpful!

I don't think that was Ellie - I don't remember it. Ellie was the young blonde nurse who finished 5th just behind Dani who was 4th. Both Ellie and Dani were clearly talented but found it hard to think outside the box so mostly excelled on recipe challenges and not mystery box nor invention tests - hence why they both kept finding their ways into black aprons.

Ah I remember - big teeth? Was supposed to be flirty with Hayden? Wonder if he'll peel off down to his budge smugglers again this year!

Oh yeah, I'm really pleased for him, I thought Adam was lovely. I think (from what I read before I had to stop googling and following everyone on Twitter) that he's been the most successful out of everyone that's been on the show.

I'm another one who grew to like Jonathan while he was on. I really disliked him at first, but he grew on me a lot.

That's the one!

Fed up of the ads already I've decided to pause it, make a cup of tea, read all the posts and then go back to it. Should finish at the same time just without the ads...Took me ages to suss that out

Quite enjoyable so far & great to see Mr Calm, Kumar back

I always find Kate & Julie similar characters & they both annoy the hell out of me

Thats the most animated I've ever seen Hayden

I'm loving this so far - the nerves and tension aren't there and everyone really seems up for it.

Oh, that's going to really bug me now! I know someone had a beer, and the judges were furious.

Wait what so someone actually had a beer while cooking? For real?

I think Hayden has it on looks as a pretty boy, but Beau is more 'cool' dude

Ohhhhh, yes, that's right, thank you!

Yes, it was an open pantry, and amongst her basket she took a beer. At the tasting, they asked where she'd used beer in the recipe, she said she'd drank it while cooking because that's what she does at home...

IIRC they were limited to 10 ingredients & she decided to cook with nine & drink the 10th
The judges had a MAJOR sense of humour failure

Oh yes, that's right, it's coming back to me now. Yes, I can't imagine Gary and George being quite so cross about it as that miserable bloke on the NZ version. It was a silly thing to do though.

He reminded me of the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I have no idea why. Seriously gave me the creeps and was unnecessarily pompous!

That was lovely seeing them all again. Thanks for your company everyone - it makes it so much more enjoyable

We know they wouldn't as Chris in series 1 (back for this series) used to cook with beer & swig too with no complaints

He ran a bar & wanted to add food to it
