They're mediocre singers and holding him back. I would buy a solo album from him but not interested in Union J

It really is 'Jaymi and his backing singers'. His voice is great and reminds me of George Michael's. All of Union J's performances are like groundhog day and consist of 85% Jaymi, 10% Josh and 5% the other two.

Ive said that on DS but got voted down.

Jaymi is a singing star. the other 3 are lucky pretty boys.

I dont wish the other 3 any ill, but Jaymi is dragging them behind him.

As a vocailst hes easily on a par with James Arthur and I prefer him to Jahmene, who I find over rated

Jaymi belongs on the West End.

Yeah his voice his very theatrical....doesn't mean he should be restricted to musical theatre

Agree, he would be great on his own as he has got a lovely voice, but think he is just as good in the group and will probably do better than branching out on his own.

I think Jaymi has a cracking voice, better than most of the male singers of the competition..

Didnt Louis say this is his 5th try at the xfactor?

He obviously cant have auditioned well as they didnt put him through.

Best singer in the competition imho.

He has a good voice but lacks control in terms of pacing and needs modulation on his lower register.

Wish he had a better mentor or vocal coach.

Jaymi should change his name back to Jamie. Embarrasing.

Think he's good but it makes the group stronger with him there. Like most bands do have a strong singer l with a high voice like Blue , Westlife etc...

Yeah the spelling of Jaymi is very tacky,Notr keen on his affected singing style either. Its like he is chanelling Christina Aquelira.Plus every vocal is the same with him,no light or shade.

He'd be too sickly on his own,

He suits a group perfectly, he needs the break with the hummers and do da doos in the background.

I agree. Jaymi is carrying the other three through the competition and I don't believe Louis for a minute that he seriously believes Union J are the next big boy band.

He has an excellent voice. George on the other hand is the one letting the band down. He's not a great singer, looks the odd one out and comes across immature.

I think the problem is that the whole concept of the group is really bad planned. Yes, Jaymi is a great singer but they failed making him the leader, since they're still a boyband and they have to sell other things than just voice. I know if they were all about the image or dancing they would be gone weeks ago, but theyre still a boyband, and not Jaymi with his backing singers.

As high as 5%?

He should deffo go solo, he out sings the other 3 all the time, he doesn't belong in a boyband, imo, if he was in the boys cat this year, I think he could of won.

Jaymi is the best male singer to come through the XF route since Joe McElderry. It is more than just hitting the notes it is how you use your voice and he uses it well.

He could have succeeded on his own, but Boy Bands seem to generate more income. Generally, the typical Boy Band followers won't be interested whether Jaymi is an amazing singer. They have their eye on the other three.

Jaymi could have an amazing solo career once the fans have moved on from the fad of following UJ.

They put him through to attract the 1D fans.

District 3 were far better as a group singing individually and in unison. Union J are just pretty faces like 1D with one passable singer. 1D were poor on X Factor when it came to singing, so Union J could do well with the same ingredients, but its probably to late while ID hog the top spot.

I like the idea of a lead singer and backing group, it's in the tradition of the great male vocal groups that came out of Motown back in the day.

Levi Stubbs and the Four Tops.Russell Thompkins and the Stylistics, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, etc. etc.
I think it works for Union J and had it not been that we already have ID, this little group would have had a good chance of winning this year .

I think that George is only in there because he bears a resemblence to Harry Styles. All he seems to do is smirk and giggle.
