Charlie topping This Morning (phone poll) and TellyMix poll by a big margin.
Charlie has topped the This Morning poll by some distance, as well as the TellyMix poll. Not even Dougie or Stacey did this. Mark was topping TellyMix and Shaun Ryder was topping TellyMix Poll. However the winners of the last 2 years have both topped the This Morning poll.
Looks like Charlie is set for the crown... |

I honestly don't mind who wins this year, I like them all aside from Helen's antics but there is more ITV than it is her tbh.
I bet this news will please a certain poster.

I won't mind Charlie winning but would rather Rosemary.

I like Charlie and wouldn't mind seeing her in the final, but hadn't really pegged her as a winner.

Nothing wrong with her but really?
She's far from the best. Do you have a link to these polls? |

Looks like Charlie is set for the crown... I'd suggest that its because of rabid Eastenders fans voting for her just because she's in Eastenders - but realised thats just as idiotic as suggesting that people in Liverpool are keeping Christopher in XF. No accounting for taste - but I think its wrong anyway. I like Charlie Brooks but she really made no impact at all. This can't be blamed on Helen hogging the limelight in the first few weeks - as Ashley has made a MASSIVE impression. Having said that - I actually like all of them in there at the moment ... even Eric! |

![]() ![]() She's the least deserving and should be one of the next out, along with the odious Eric. |

She's nice enough, but it's got to be the EastEnders vote that keeps her topping the polls. There is no other explanantion.

If Charlie does win (I don't think she will) then it will be the EE fans keeping her in ... and for all I know - the whole of Merseyside IS voting for Chris on XF. |

Shes a forgettable character really, even Limahl who came in 8 days later made more of an impression.

Looks like Charlie is set for the crown... I don't like Eric and although I don't mind David I do think that he comes over as rather arrogant! So glad that Dougie won last year over Mark! |

It'll be daft if Charlie wins mostly for having been on Eastenders.

I think she is the least egocentric of those that are left. She just calmly gets on with things without creating drama or playing to the cameras. Hugo is similar, although he's not as calm as Charlie. They are my top two, although I can't see Charlie winning, it will be one of the ones being given lots of airtime.

It wouldn't be a surprise if she won, she seems nice and uncontroversial enough. She hasn't done *much*, but that's not a requirement of a winner - did Dougie really do anything memorable last year?

Hardly a big margin. It's pretty close between Charlie and Ashley in the Tellymix poll :-
Charlie Brooks (24%, 615 Votes) Ashley Roberts (21%, 540 Votes) David Haye (15%, 385 Votes) Rosemary Shrager (14%, 356 Votes) Helen Flanagan (11%, 272 Votes) Eric Bristow (9%, 237 Votes) Hugo Taylor (6%, 149 Votes) And I didn't know they released the figures for the This Morning polls. |

She won't win, she isn't shown enough. I think she peaked on the show in the first week and slowly she is becoming less visible on the show.
I think it's pretty open this year as to who'll win. |

Corrie gets more viewers so by that logic Helen should win.

I voted for Dougie las year because he was a nice down to earth person, just like Charlie, and I'd never heard of him before the show. |

Corrie viewers aren't the most likely viewers to vote in anything. Besides - even amongst Corrie fans - Helen Flanagan isn't their favourite actress (I actually like her and the character of Rosie). Eastenders fans however will vote for ANYTHING that is Eastenders related.
