I'm not a big fan of Chris (his style is dated and the emotion isnt there) but agreed
I know this was in the 00's) - look at Jane McDonald, she was exactly that, a cruise ship singer and was successful. It could even be argued that The Seekers, one of my favourite folk groups began as cruise ship singers, as they provided the entertainment on a boat going from Australia to England. The next day (or very shortly afterwards), they appeared on TV in the UK.

What I find highly amusing is this guy is only in the end stages because THE JUDGES put him there. And now they claim he won't be a worthy winner? Tough!!! You put him there, you suffer the consequences if the public vote for that person. It's about time they stopped putting joke acts into the final stages and then claiming the 'real' stars deserve your votes more.

Of course.. it's probably all a stunt designed to boost ratings.

So how you expect 5 of this terrible lots to all have albums I don't know.

I'd reckon only Ella, James and Jahmene/Chris (whoever wins) will have albums out. And none of them will last longer than two years.”

I said dependant on whether Simon backs Union J or not is whether they have any success.

That whittles it down to 4 and you have named 4 as well.

The Chris one is dependant on a win and just going by rumours that he is topping the votes so you more or less agree apart from Jahmene.

Ella a couple of album and singles, potential of long term career.
James, more suited to tours but album sales too.
Jahmene will have a couple of albums, 100% whether he is 1st or 2nd.
