It was very BORE-low with him in it..

And, there's me thinking that Rylan had, had the "wit," to think that one up himself..and even then, I thought it was naff!

We'll see it next week, 4*2 ballands and midtempos?
OK, some karaoke upbeats served by Baloney

It will seem pretty flat without him. Same way it did last year after Kitty went.

Completely agree

There'll be no fun or entertainment factor at all, but at least there's only two more weeks to go anyway.

People obviously vary in their assessment as to what's "entertaining."

I know which I'd find more "BORE-low."

I'd rather hear ballads and mid-tempo songs done well than hashed up middle of the road, disco versions of decent songs done in the most mediocre way possible..

That other bunch of naff nellies, Diva-Fever, kept going on about how they were putting "fun," into the show, which largely amounted to wiggling their asses about to naff, badly done, disco music..sounds familiar..

Only, thankfully, they didn't last anywhere near as long!

The most "entertaining," thing Rylan has done, so far for me, has been in the sing-offs where he's actually proven his worth as a singer..

Everything other than that, IMO, has been dull and dire, no matter what the tempo..but, if that's what "entertains," some people..go with it..

Rich.

Indeed it will be, but maybe UJ will zip it up, if they're allowed to that is.

I will finally be able to watch the Saturday show on my tv rather than youtube so that i could avoid Rylan's performance, which is fine by me, not long to the final now

Sorry guys I think I'm done with XF this year. Well I work Saturday nights so I won't watch the singing just the Sunday results show. It's more of a habit now really. Couldn't give a sh*t who wins now my Rylan has gone. I think I might cry now...

No. I think James will now come out in very tight pink silk with troupes of dancing girls and boys with their tops off and skip round the stage to some old Cilla numbers. Anything other than standing there looking miserable howling behind that guitar!

As much as I dislike him, he's probably worth seeing more than Union J. A scandalous decision.

Don't forget - Sunday 9th December, 7:40pm to 9:40pm is the Final Results night.

Rylan and all the other contestants will put in a non-singing appearance, and should James win he is sure to be the first to rush on stage and deliver a bromancing congratulation to rival that between Matt and Aiden (someone better tell Nicole to stand well back). Then he and the rest of them will be on Xtra Factor.

So you still have some Rylan to follow.

No, it's one of my favourite shows so I'll always watch, just making an observation.

Once you get to this stage in the competition, you can't keep people in simply because they're 'fun'. They also have to be able to carry a tune and Rylan, by his own admission, is a weak singer.

He may not be the strongest singer in the competition, but he certainly had the best tone to his voice imo. His sing-off was once again; absolutely flawless.

Indeed it was. I thought he sang it beautifully. At least he didn't warble, wibble, and faff about with the notes

I started off resenting Rylan for taking the place of others I thought were better singers. By the end I loved him and he was the one I most looked forward to seeing. OK maybe not the best singer, but I liked his personality, humour and the sense that he really was enjoying his time on XF but would go gracefully when his time came. He didn't disappoint me.

You can still watch a show and dislike it. How are you to form a judgement on something if you don't experience it in the first place?

Well the first part I find strange I mean why watch something you dont like, As most normal people would turn the TV over if they dont like whats on.

The second part would have a point if the people commenting had watched the show without Rylan but they have not as of yet .
So really makes that question void at the moment therefore their views on something that has not happen yet are just as void.

How is missing out on Rylan warbling untunefully to a dozen different song mashup whilst he does his one move, the catwalkesque slow prance, whilst actual dancers do things around him, all of which lasts less than 5 minutes -even with two songs- going to drastically change the makeup of the show.

They could still have the dancers do their skit to a backing track, if thats what fun and entertainment is.

How do you find the first part strange?

I've watched many things where at the end I've thought 'well that was a load of trollocks' lol.

It's easy for me to guess the show from now on will be a tad boring now that Rylan has gone, seeing as he was the only reason I continued to watch.

As I don't really care for the remainder I hardly see myself enjoying the show. I said a couple of weeks ago once Rylan goes I'll probably only watch Sunday's show just to see who goes next.

Which is more than likely what I will do
