No Bitching this year

Although there havent been many friendships or bromances in the camp this year, there havent been many arguments or bitching either. They all seem to have got on pretty well.

That's the one thing I have really enjoyed from the outset of this year's show but then I detest bitching and arguing.

Well if there is then the show doesn't appear to want to highlight it.

In a way it's quite a refreshing change.
So is the way that this year the show is less about one or two people and most of them are given enough airtime throughout the week.

I do think that they're doing one or two things a bit better this year.

It's nice, isn't it.

The only one that's been a tad bitchy is Eric (and yes, blokes can be bitchy!), but he's mild compared to some we have had before.

But the show needs a 'bromance'. Just imagine how great it would be if David and Hugo started a bromance and then at shows end, Ant and Dec could show one of them clips of their bromance to 'You're My Best Friend' by Queen and it will show them watching the clips and laughing.

Ooops spoke too soon. Rosemary was a patronising cow yesterday and she only picks on Hugo. She wouldnt dare say boo to Eric and always sucks up to him. Getting a bit fed up with her now. Hope she is out tonight.

Strangely enough, I quite like the bromances on this type of show - it's nice and usually a lot of fun to watch

Well. I am the exception then, cause I miss the bitching. I do not watch it just to see them sing songs and tell each other how great they are. What a boring season this was compared to others.

I've just had to laugh to myself at this thread as the one below it is titled "Charlie is a bit bitchy".

What exactly does this "bitching" mean? Does it mean talking behind someone's back? We all do this at some time or another. Is it a reference to what is said in the equivalent of the Diary Room in BB? A place to let off steam?

Whatever it actually means, it's a horrible word. We all grumble about people who we have to endure on a daily basis, who doesn't have a gripe about a certain colleague at work? Just imagine being with that annoying person for twenty four hours per day with no respite. It would drive you to drink and you'd need to let off steam somewhere or you'd burst a blood vessel.

Bitching? No. Just airing their views and venting their anger without upsetting the apple cart by exploding. Those who can keep their cool by venting to an available ear are keeping the peace.

My daughter asked me yesterday who I wanted to win.....I said that you couldn`t put a fag paper between any of em cors they, with the exception of Nadine, who mellowed, were all really very pleasant and nice. There`s been hardly any bitching at all and it`s all been very watchable and enjoyable.

I prefer an argument to bitching.

Who's been bitching? No one that I've seen. There's been a bit of moaning going on but isn't that understandable?

I thought Nadine was quite bitchy when she was there, they showed her slating people behind their backs a few times.

That is what I mean. We have had some arguments though.

I like it like this, we actually get to see some of the personalities there, because silly fights don't hog all the airtime.

Why, what did Nadine do that was so awful?? Bear in mind you are prepared to overlook the faults in the others.

I like a bit of bitching myself, that's why Series One with TPT, Darren Day, Christine Hamilton, Nigel Benn and Rhona Cameron will never be beaten.

Arguments are good, that's why I love reading the GD section of this forum. Everyone enjoys watching a good scrap but there are some camp members who couldn't cope with it, those who refuse to accept criticism because, in their minds, they're perfect and can do no wrong, even when they've tried their best when, in fact, they hadn't tried at all.

I don't think she was bitchy exactly, just in a bad mood. She can be likeable and funny, but I should think she would be quite hard to live with long-term.

It has been quite a likeable series, but disastrous for those who like a lot of drama: no romances, no big rows, no tantrums, no bitches or martyrs or spoilt monsters, just pleasant people being pleasant.

I wonder what the voting figures are like? I haven't actually voted yet because there is no one I feel really passionate about. And I AM a voter normally. I would have voted Eric out if I could, but since there is no vote to evict I am happy to sit and hope one of the others takes it.
