Alonso leads, but can't help but think it's temporary until Vettel inevitably passes him.

And there we go, Alonso pits, Vettel leads once again.

Hamilton team orders Rosberg again. Magic podium for Rosberg some how. Do they have a six place podium at Monza?

Battling Mercedes with Hamilton passing Rosberg, good clean racing there.

Hopefully looking like a decent result for them, don't think they'll be troubling the Red Bull cars or Alonso. Could be wrong though....

Vettel's 5 second lead on Alonso has turned into a 10 second lead after the pit-stops.

Seems the "geniuses" at Ferrari have worked their magic again.

10 second lead from Vettel to Alonso. I have no doubt that Vettel is a extremely compotent driver, it's just part of me would love to see him in a different car to see if he could do the same.

Lock up from Rosberg chasing after Hulkenberg.

Some good battles in the midfield this afternoon, which is good to see.

This is my view in a nutshell. I can't consider Vettel a great driver until I've seen him do well in a sub-par car. Yes, he drove a Toro Rosso competently, but he's never had to struggle in a top-end car that should have been good but isn't. Alonso, Hamilton, Raikkonen, Button and Rosberg have all done so.

Good pass from Hamilton on Rosberg, clean racing and certainly not team orders.

Not sure what Ferrari have been thinking, their pit stop strategy was awful. And as a result Vettel's sauntering away again

I love Mark Webber, but I hope he doesn't get past Alonso today, the championship needs to be kept alive and so Alonso needs to finish 2nd to limit his losses.

Hamilton with another fastest lap, Webber still staying close to Alonso despite his issue with the car.

Oooh, both Webber and Vettel now getting messages about short-shifting.

Maybe more drama to come?
