Winning teams don't stay at the top forever though. Mclaren 88-91 then 98-99. Ferrari 2000-2006 Williams 92-94, etc
It seems that Vettel's not just getting boos from the Tifosi these days though, though undoubtedly the Ferrari fans are far too biased, and certainly nothing condones the rudeness of booing a driver.
Strange actually to see them a little bit more sporting towards Mark Webber, he really does seem to be just universally liked!

Am I mistaken or was there a banana thrown towards Hamilton (albeit a long way away) on lap 9? just after they were getting the Mercedes mixed up on the Beeb. On the screen a yellow object looking like a banana going from right to left, was about 50 metres away though.

Does make you think, maybe there'd be some mileage in banning pit radios and forcing drivers to rely on pit-boards?
Seems like it'd introduce a bit of unpredictability, allow drivers to decide things for themselves and force teams to simplify some of their strategies and tactics.

Drivers would probably say that withholding radio access would be against their human rights Personally I would ban the radio access

I think you'd need the radio to be there purely for safety reasons, if the team can see from the telemetry that a car's about to have a brake failure or have the suspension collapse then it's safer to have the team be able to tell the driver immediately rather than wait for him to see a pitboard, at which point it may be too late.
Perhaps a better thing to do would be to ban the radio except for when the team urgently needs to speak to the driver because of a safety problem with the car, and have it all monitored by the FIA to make sure it isn't abused.
