Said it already but the Oz race is often a poor indicator of form for some reason.
I wouldn't mind betting that by the time we come away from China the big story will be "What's happened to Lotus' early season form?"
We shouldn't forget that Raikkonen won after doing 1 pitstop (worth around 25 seconds) less than Alonso and Vettel and he only won by 5 seconds so he was, effectively, lapping around 1s slower than the followers.
At a circuit where the Lotus
can't make it's tyres last, they're probably going to be off the pace.
Might be interesting to see whay Kimi's tyres were like at the end though.
Is the Lotus kind to it's tyres (and does that mean it'll have problems in hot climates?) or was it that Kimi was just getting on with it even though his tyres were shagged?
