Well, whatever you think about Rosberg and Hamilton, it seems like the main subject at the Merc' debrief is going to be how Rosberg's actions, today, f**ked-up his team-mate's race, damaged his own chance of winning and, therefore, screwed the team out of around 25 points.

Vettel is just an average driver. Shows it was the car that won the titles.
Sush, you'll make the kids (his fans) cry...

Pretty poor all round from Merc today really.

They have basically just put a load of miles on Lewis' engine for nothing, it was clear that he didn't have the pace to actually get up the grid.

Certainly a debrief that I would love to listen too!

This is the second time Rosberg's done something that looks very suspiciously like dirty tricks though - the first being in Quali a few races ago.

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that he's worse than Schumacher was at his worst and he'll win the championship by whatever means it takes, fair or foul. He's also clever enough, it seems, to get away with it. And today, he ruined the spectacle of the fastest two drivers going head to head.

Glad that Rosberg didn't win. The sneaky cheat.
I do tend to think sheer stupidity, especially when involving your teammate, rather than cheating on this occasion. If anything, Rosberg was more likely to come off worse.

Rosberg getting some booing on the podium.

Same here.
Notice that even though he got 2nd he didn't look too happy in the drivers room. Maybe realising the stick he's going to get from the team and Hamilton.

And he gets booed on the podium. Lol.

Ricciardo is fast becoming another favourite of mine. What a driver. And putting Vettel firmly in the shade

What could this guy do in a Merc or even a Williams?
He is but good team driving by vettel early on to keep rosberg at bay and let riccardo build a lead

And I tell you what...Ricciardo could be right in play here for 2nd in the championship if Lewis has more woes. What was meant to be a comfortable weekend has turned into a mess for Merc - they seem to have contracted 'McLaren Syndrome', snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, at quite a few races this season.

And yes, they should have retired Lewis earlier. No doubt if his engine fails on him at one of the double-points races, Lewis will be fuming, and rightly so.

Who would have thought it...Vettel as the RB reargunner? He just looks completely at sea with these new cars.

I understand why they kept Hamilton out, though. If there had been a safety car at some point he would have come straight back into play, albeit the damage to the suspension would have played a part. I think Hamilton played a part in the suspension damage as he drove too fast heading back to the pits.

I don't think Rosberg clipped Hamilton deliberately but it was his mistake - will he hold his hands up and admit it or say Hamilton didn't leave him enough room?

I'm surprised Lauda called Rosberg out in public.

I dunno.

I still don't think he's deliberately being slippery, but he's certainly had all the luck this year.

S'funny, Rosberg seems to have this "mister nice guy" image but, when you look back at his career, he does have form for being overly aggressive and a little clumsy so it shouldn't be a surprise when he gets involved in this stuff when the situation arises.

Loving the way EJ gave Rosberg a big introduction which, of course, led to the fans giving him a HUGE boo.
EJ must've known that'd happen.

Oh but... I thought Mercedes didn't need constructor championship points? That was the excuse used when Hamilton cost them a few in Hungary.

EDIT: I am saying this with tongue very much in cheek!

Good point actually. Just seemed like after the puncture, his head was completely scrambled.

Has he not forgotten what you're supposed to when you have a puncture? Drive slowly to the pits.

EDIT: Lol the Totonator's fuming

"Unfortunately" they didn't get 1 / 2 says Rosberg. Yep, someone was an idiot, enjoy your TV viewing.

And, Eddie, stop censoring the crowd !

What did Lauda say?
Lauda said it was Rosberg's fault that the collision happened. Wolff is now spitting feathers on Sky about the collision.

Go for it, Toto !

Surprised, but good.

Gets better, he now recognises that they kept Hamilton out too long.
