While I don't think it was outrageous that Rosberg was asked to hold for me that was a failure of strategy for Hamilton and Nico should have been allowed to pass. If Hamilton was cutting it fine for fuel he would not have been able to fight Rosberg even if he wanted too.
It was a pretty thin excuse but I was glad to see Lewis and Nico seeming to have no hard feelings about it. |

At least Lewis is honest and admits Nico should of had his podium spot.

So, how come Horner spent most of last year going on about how RBR always lets their drivers race rather than using team orders like Ferrari and yet here we are listening to Horner trying to mitigate the consequences when their drivers don't follow team orders? |

Yes good on lewis for that. I think the Hamilton vs Rosberg battle is going to be really exciting this year without the need for any tension to spice it up.
What was even more shocking from Vettel was not just the fact that he ignored team orders but that the moves he put on Webber to overtake were so unnecessarily risky from the teams point of view. Today he was like a kid trying to see how much he can get away with. |

Looks like team orders just fly over the head of Vettel, unless they suit him. He lost a lot of respect today, but he probably cares not a jot - that too will fly over his thick skull.....

lewis out qualified him, lewis was ahead of him the whole race but in the end it got to a point where they were almost gonna take each other out so the team were like 'hold stations' and lets take a 3/4 finish, as well as save fuel.
if the roles were reversed and lewis was behind him i would fully expect him to do the same. sebastien vettel now....... well, hes a ****. |

Why does Nico Rosburg look about 12 years old?

Apparently Vettel has issued an apology in the written press conference. Bit late imho, it's like apologising after someone has nicked and eaten your last sweetie! I wish Webber had decked him in the 'green' room!!
I was just coming round to the fact that maybe Vettel isn't a prat too ... Horner has gone down in my estimation too after his weasel chat with the Sky guys. |

Kinda funny the way Vettel has now, in the press conference, apparently apologised for ignoring team orders.
Seems like a classic case of him getting interviewed first on the podium and putting his foot in it and then, after seeing how Hamilton dealt with the same issue, he's just thought "Oh bugger! I could have said that too" and then decided to adopt the same strategy afterwards. |

Notice how Horner kept saying the drivers (plural) decided to race, when in reality it was only Vettel that decided to defy team orders, but Horner was trying to spread the blame to Webber as well.

Webber being interviewed now, is still one very gutted bunny, maybe I should go over and give him a hug, poor lad!
I really don't blame him for thinking the apology is too little, too late.

How many times has mark had to hold position or let vettel through and did it yet the one time vettel has to do it he can`t. Not that it was a shock because we knew vettel wouldn`t do that. He should remember this day the next time mark is told to hold position or let him through because you can be sure mark will. Lewis drove a good race today. Not really sure why rosberg was bitching. why should lewis give up 3rd. Rosberg was deluded if he thought he could catch the red bulls but unlike vettel he did has he was told.

Interesting the way Webber said something like "Well, maybe 3 weeks off will chill me out or maybe things might be done differently in the future"
I'm thinking that RBR might have to work hard for the rest of the season to ensure Vettel can always pass Webber in the pits rather than risking trying it on track. |

This will blow over, Horner seems a very manipulative kind of guy.

Well despite the top 4 cars being told what to do for the final part of the race, it still made great viewing with all the bitching going on!
Was worth getting up early to watch. Shame we have to wait 3 weeks now though! |

His body language to me is saying 'that's it, I'm out'
Such a shame as he is one of the, if not the, nicest driver on the grid ![]() If they do really badly they could lose their seats but, OTOH, if they do particularly well they're also risking their seat too. I mean, they just interviewed Helmut Marko and even he was critical of Vettel and sympathetic toward Webber but, when it comes right down to it, he'll be in a meeting somewhere, in 4 months time, suggesting that Webber gets sacked if he's causing hassle for Vettel. |

Yes, I recall you've said the same thing before and yet, strangely, I don't have a f**king clue who you are, aside from being some nobody who pops up once in a blue moon, posts some rubbish and then whines that I'm a terrible person.
I'd say I'm doing you and everybody else a favour by convincing you not to post if all you're going to do is post rubbish and whiney bullshit. |
