Maybe more front wings should explode like that in future. That livened the race up in a big way!
It's a great ideal until somebody gets hurt. F1 should be thinking about some front wing pick up points strength test.

Solid race from Seb.
Good race for Red Bull and McLaren.

Brain fade day for Lewis.
Bad luck for Kimi & Nico.

Maldonardo... please, just go.

Should have thought a little. Without any risks to the drivers obviously. Safety car that followed made it all the more lively

It was a great race and glad that Hamilton finishes ahead of Rosberg

Agreed this is the bases we all want to see great racing. I think three times this weekend a front wing broke quite easily.

I think there is something funny going on with the front wings. They must all be passing thr flex test but at Vmax lots of the wings appear to start getting in to some high speed flutter. It appears they are all made somewhat insubstantial.

Great race.

Well done Seb.

Awful race from Lewis & Nico. It was like Lewis was transported back into 2011. But the guys usually flawless so can't really get mad over 1 race.

Nico just didn't have any pace all weekend.

Thankyou Ricciardo

Eddie Jordan bugs me how he starts to answer a question with the word 'look' or 'listen', it's a really arrogant way to speak I find.

Whoo hoo Forza Vettel. He has the only two real race wins this year.
Didn't you hate Vettel when he was driving & winning for Red Bull

That has got to be one of he not the best weekend I've watched in years! Full of drama and action right from Thursday till Sunday, the sport I love seems to have come back to life!

I hate Ferrari, but pleased for them today. It seems right and proper that Ferrari won, shame Kimi couldn't make it a 1-2... just seems right somehow. Manor couldn't do it, so... yup... it was the right result.

As for the rest of the madness... very entertaining.

It's the Irish vernacular, many of whom begin a sentence in that way.

Aiden O'Brien, the racehorse trainer, always begins his answers with 'listen'.

I daresay they don't realise they are saying it, and comes naturally in their dialect.

A good race to watch with lots of action and have to feel sorry for Raikkonen as Ferrari were quicker in the race. Hamilton didn't have a good race but he can't be too unhappy as he finished ahead of Rosberg who surprisingly didn't get a drive through for his coming together with Ricciardo but I guess the puncture was punishment enough.

Forza never lets anything that may be deemed "rational thought" enter his head.

Well Lewis, that was a bad day at the office
I think Nico should take that as a bit of Monaco karma

Good flawless race by Seb nice to a see a selection of drives that didn't include either of the Mercedes pair on the podium.

I don't think Lewis did all that wrong in Hungary. The only bit that truly sits on on his shoulders was trying to sneak up the side of Nico. A bit of patience would have yielded an eventual pass and a fight for the win.

The incident with Ric - I dunno. I thought Ric was being too aggressive and it was more his fault that he clashed with Lewis. But I would have classed it a racing incident.

The rest of Lewis' drive was actually pretty dammed good. He chose some classy passing move (Ric should probably take note) and was pretty much "on it" lap after lap. Just a shame that the Merc cutch seems to be all over the place and that he had that red mist moment in trying to pass Nico.

In fairness, he'll get a nice payout from McLaren for ending his contract and he is at the end of his F1 career no matter how you look at it, he's highly marketable in Japan so he could go and race for Nissan or Toyota in some other catagory and still make a decent crust out of it. He's had a good solid career, but some more new blood is never a bad thing.

Word is JB has been approached to co-host Top Gear with Chris Evans. It sounded like a load of BS given he was under contract for 2016 but now I'm not so sure...

Funnily enough, after posting this I caught upon Ted's Notebook from the last GP in which he reported that he'd heard from Mclaren that they would be retaining JB in 2016.
