You dont seem to get it, your analogy suggests this. Let me explain it again, Rosberg made a change (using your analogy, he flicked the light switch from ON to OFF). He had the problem, he switched the lights ON again. However the bit you are missing, he then still had the problem and had to make ANOTHER change (say, turn the wipers on). This was the same change Hamilton had to make. They both had to turn on their wipers. Something Hamilton couldnt figure out, whilst Rosberg could.
Toto clarified this. He said Rosberg made a change, changed it back and then made another change. It was this second change that Hamilton could not figure out.
If you dont want to belive Toto or Lauda - then thats up to you. But those are the facts.
