I am sure Rosberg and other drivers have done it in the past.

Probably right it should be done in private but when your so high profile it doesn't seem to work like that.

Most of all what I think might happen is one day a driver will be on there way to a great pole position when somebody causes what would previously be a doubled waved yellow and the red flag is going to come out and make the whole F1 show look like a complete joke again.

If such a sinario does occur I hope the clark of the course doesn't have one eye on the TV feed waiting got some sort of WDC to complete a lap before nuetralising the race track.

I am pretty sure no one has, certiainly not in the last 20 odd years or so. Its not the done thing, you sort it out in the team. If the team have an issue they pursue it.

So you are wrong when you say Rosberg and other drivers have done it. It simply isnt the done thing, its a pretty low thing to do. You have to be a right so and so to do it.

I am sure Alonso and Hamilton had a falling out at McLaren which was quite public as well but fair enough.

Was thinking about Senna as an example but that was over 20 years ago!

ACU, I think you need to learn to read between the lines a bit. It's pretty obvious Hamilton was making a point to the team as a whole when he bypassed them - it's no secret in the paddock Mercedes would prefer Rosberg to take this year's title.

I think you're so quick sometimes to stick the boot into Lewis at every opportunity you don't always stop and think why something is happening.

I'm pretty sure he feels he's fighting Rosberg AND Mercedes at times to get this drivers title. Things aren't always as black and white as they seem.

No, he was making sure any unsafe car manouvers in qualifying were legal.
It was quite obvious that double yellows would start to get ignored, a precedent being set.

If you want to know the rules for certain you are always better asking the ref, not the team.

I'm late to this conversation but I would really like to know why you say this.
BTW I am a Hamilton fan.

Rosberg is also his rival for the drivers title and I think whoever Rosberg beat to pole that day would have had the same reaction. I'm sure Vettel would of been asking the same question.

Why is Alonso the highest paid driver?

No surprise rosberg got a penalty.
It was pretty much same thing he did against Lewis only this time he didn't hit Max.

Made me laugh when he said on the radio..."can you explain to them i was on full lock right round the corner" when the pictures showed he stayed straight once more and only turned at the very last second.

And yet if verstappen does it hes a young genius and everybody loves him, he jinked to the right at the last minute it was a fair piece of overataking.
But then if he had not been penalised tell tale Hamilton would have ran to Charlie and complained, arsie little s**t that he has become, massively gone down in my estimation after the yellow flag incident, Hamilton all over.

sir, sir, the other 21 cars won't let me win - mardie little sod, hes the tiger woods of F1

Maybe someone should remind rosberg there are onboard cameras that see everything and we clearly saw he didn't turn until max was pushed off the track. Biggest Surprise was Martin praising the move and yet criticised rosberg when he did it against Lewis.

Only difference i can see is that lewis didnt accept being pushed off track and turned when about to go off and max accepted going off so didnt turn. Both times rosberg though just drove straight and only turned at the very last second before he himself went off track.

Either way this is second time
rosberg has done it. He's just lucky max didn't turn in like Lewis otherwise it would have been the exact same incident.

Although Rosberg had a bad start what the heck happened in the pits? Why did they keep him hanging around for over 8 seconds during the five second penalty? Why did both of his stops take longer than they should have done? The conspiracy theories would be immense if Hamilton had received that kind of treatment.

Either way the season is basically over and done with now and we're only at the summer break.

Btw people moaning about Hamilton going to the stewards, the rule was changed and other drivers agreed so wasn't he proved right?

To do it against an opposition is one thing. To do it against your own teammate...

The rule was changed though so their was obviously an issue with it, i don't see the problem in raising issue with a rule if their is a problem.

Should you have to wait until the problem occurs with the opposition to bring it up?

This could be a silly question , but its been nagging me for years, at the bottom when they show the positions , next to the leaders name it says Leader, but every so often it says interval, what does interval mean during the race ?

I think it means the gap between leader and second placed driver
