True enough.
I'm wondering if Hamilton was, perhaps, "driving to a time" during quali' on the assumption that Webber, Massa and/or Raikkonen might finish ahead of him and push him down to 11th.
Course, it's certainly possible he just couldn't manage any higher than 4th too.
FWIW, it seems like Ferrari were
really switched-on with their strategy for Massa.
I wonder if they'd have sent him out on the prime tyres if they
knew he'd be starting from 6th position?
Seems like they were actually smart enough to realise that it was likely Massa would be promoted up the grid when Webber and Hamilton's penalties were applied.
Assuming this is another race where it's "one set of options and the rest of the race on primes", this could easily turn out to be Massa's day.
